  1. Tried again just there 5 hours after my first attempt and again hit the same problem.

I am very supportive of the club and a rare critic, but it does seem that even the simplest administrative molehills turn into mighty mountains.

Looks like I will have to wait until Tuesday to fill Archie's war chest. Will probably have to phone which always feels like a defeat after online has failed.

Same here... I want to give my money to the club but the ticket renewal site prevents me. A phonecall to Firhill on Tuesday is the only option, I think.

  2.

He's still in London with a slightly sore head ! Didn't know the score till nearly 11pm great result

I'll start the new manager thread in the summer !!

I heard a rumour that Dick Campbell might be available.

    ....just saying!

  3. He has been a "safe pair of hands" for us all season; coping with the pressures remarkably well.

He kept a cool head when many of the fans, myself included I'm sorry to say, we're beginning to panic.

His signings have mostly proved good choices.

Most importantly, he has treated triumph and disaster as two sides of the same coin; taking lessons from defeats, rejecting the temptation to boast when we win.

I find these qualities admirable and I hope he stays with us for a long time to come.

  4. Well done Arch and Shaggy. They've made plenty of mistakes but will only be better managers for it. I wouldn't have swapped them for any other manager in the split at any point. They stuck to a footballing philosophy and didn't try to lump it route one. That defence doesn't half need sorted out though.

Thought for a long time Hibs deserve to be in the play off spot given the football Butcher plays.Forty years out of date.

    Yes,,,,,,THIS!

Sort out our dodgy defence and we'll be cruising next season.

Where did I put that beer?

  5. I'll be watching this in the pub. I want Aberdeen to win, mainly because it will really annoy all the Rangers fans that will be in my local.

    Petty-minded or what?

As Harold Wilson once said of Tony Benn, "He's actually immaturing with age!".

  6. Yesterday, I invested two British pounds, (shortly to become Two Bawbees Scots?) in a copy of "Sick In the Basin". What a wise investment!

This magazine is full of intellectual debate on the higher values of Scottish football. You would need a PhD to understand some of the articles in it but, nevertheless it is worth all the effort. In fact, reading it has raised my IQ level more than 40 points overnight!

I found the horticultural advice on David Cameron especially instructional.
