edwards hit a ball to their player for the second goal - was okay but not outstanding. Should have done far better with the header
Edwards is an imposter.

To be fair he looked good against Queen's Park...

MotM! Eff off!

Rather harsh! Azeez and Erskine both playing really well and creating chances. Doolan and Lawless not quite got shooting boots on.
Fullbacks both need to up their game. Still hopeful.
Not harsh at all - Erskine and possibly Azeez apart it was shocking.
And Gordon clearly has ideas above his station.

Comparisons with England are absolutely pointless and ridiculous. English football contains 2 of the 5 leagues in Europe which spend the most on transfer fees. I mean, absolute nobodies like Crystal Palace can spend £27 million on one player.
Adam Barton had featured in 5 matches for Portsmouth this season already, which suggests that he was very much a first team player there as well. And in any case, Lucas Akins (remember him?) holds down a regular place in the English championship, so comparisons can be made which show either in whatever light you want.
I wish Thistle were absolute nobodies that got 25,000 sell-out crowds for home league games.

Cosmo is a big Rangers man. He was superb as Freeth in an episode of the Sweeney.

Thinking about those brown patches on the pitch. If our dog wees on the lawn it burns the grass brown. Maybe theres lions, tigers and bears sneaking in at night.
Certainly plenty of wild animals roaming about Maryhill at night.
-
Did the club not choose grey because it supposedly 'hides' lower crowds better than a swathe of brightly coloured seats? That's what I seem to remember anyway.

Speaking of smells, can whoever is smoking in the toilets just stop it. The ground is non-smoking and surely you can go for a couple of hours without a ciggie.
Really unfair on the rest of us having to put with the stink of stale smoke.
Ah, the wrath of a reformed ex (?) smoker !

To be fair it was a bit of a boot in the baws - I made a sharp exit from the JHS.

Pity ....................... made all the moreso by having a fortnight for the result to fester
I've just found out (possibly from yourself...?) that Jeanie Deans is a character in 'The Heart of Midlothian'.

it's a bit more mobile friendly anyway.

He also did Workington speedway.

Even though I am in Berlin at the moment, I have been told Chas Mulgrew was seen walking up Maryhill Rd today!
Soneone better check he hasn't left his bairn unattended in his motor - especially in this heat.

1. We shouldn't panic. I have seen it all before.
2. Jags legends are not beyond criticism or a kicking from the manager.
3. I suspect 1 or 2 posters don't don't appreciate just how bad we were.it could have been 7-0 but for Scully and bad finishing.
4. Trust Archie to sort it out and move on.
Did Super Scully win and score the penalty as well?
-
Long time to go.
Incidentally, is there extra time tonight or straight to pens?
Neither.
-
If Scully's in goal, then we'll need to score at least 2 goals to win the game.
So strongest possible attacking team is needed.
It's Scully. Jings.

The Landsdowne is another wallet-busting boozer.

Woody has upped its game - used to drink in there back in the 90s but then it went downhill - however, it's now back to being a fairly decent boozer - good service and Maryhill prices. They've started selling food in The Woodside, btw. £4 for a pie plus a generous portion of beans and chips. Great boozer.

Aye, I know ICT aren't the most attractive opposition but a sub-3000 crowd on the opening day is disappointing.Only 2 disappointments for me today - the PA system returning to the bad old days and the attendance. 2,700 home fans on the opening day when there is such a positive feeling around the club. I know some people might still be on holiday but we really do need to be hitting nearer 3,000 on a regular basis to give Archie more to work with in the transfer windows.

£5.75 a pint of Goose Island - eff off.

Tried to add to my season ticket but it doesn't seem to work on Apple products - strange as I managed to renew my ST on my iMac.

Ladies' Night tonight - HP will be a zoo.

Used to call into the Doublet after games in the late 90s / early 00s - haven't been in since it reopened under new ownership but it was a good wee boozer - will try and visit before or after the QP game.

It was his slack ball that led to their second goal and then there was his miss right in front of goal...
