Is there a particular reason this friendly is being played at the race track in Cowdenbeath? Don,t see another topic for it. Is it because of ground laying at both home grounds maybe!

From the OS
There are four changes to that Thistle side which downed the Perthshire Saints as Alan Archibald is forced into a few alterations. Conor Sammon misses the game due to a family bereavement and he is replaced by Kris Doolan. Callum Booth and Steven Lawless are also missing due to knocks. Mustapha Dumbuya comes in for Booth as Paul McGinn switches to the left-hand side while Ryan Edwards comes in for Steven Lawless. Adam Barton is the final change as he slots into a back three, replacing Chris Erskine to facilitate a change of formation.

liam lindsay scored for barnsley if anyone cares
hopefully put another mil on his price

If they burnt it down the insurance money would let us build a new one!
i think that is the point...it wouldn't as the police have (as far as i remember) warned Thistle it could happen if they let the ugly sisters use it, i mean lets face it insurance companies have NEVER tried to get out of paying up if they can get off with it

Erskine needs to start performing like we know he can or else we could do with another creative player being brought in. I agree though that Archie's business is done and he is now going to be relying on this squad with the hope that the injuries don't return to those that have spent more minutes in the treatment room than the pitch
Sure i seen Archie say he has an injury and has been trying to give him time to heal.

It could have been Thistle that moved Turnbull on. If Archie realised he wasn't going to stay at the end of the season, he may have made a move to find a replacement.
it wasn't, according to Jordan it came out of the blue from cov, they just wanted him off there wage bill and why would you take a player to Spain for training if that was the case?

Good luck to Jordan. I am really disappointed to hear this, although there is little that we can do if Coventry decide to recall him. The timing does seem a bid odd , it possibly does indicate that a bid has come in for him.
its on there OS now
