  1. A few years ago, I wore the Thistle top we wore in the SPHell, which is similar to this one, in the Barcelona store at the Camp Nou. A guy at the shop took a pic of it (it's the colour and design of the Catalan flag), and swapped me a Barca pen for a Thistle one.

    Now I'm not saying that........etc., etc. :innocent2:

  2. A fair sized set of action pics from today's game is now available for viewing below, but beware, this contains some "disturbing images" :innocent2::tongue2: ; -

As you'll know, I was told by my doc. not to travel to away games anymore due to continuing poor health. The situation is getting worse, and there is no solution or remedy in sight, so I'm sorry to say that in two weeks time, the game against Falkirk will be my last game. I'll say my thanks to some at the the time, but I'd like to say a particular thanks to the person pivotal to my pics being seen by my fellow fans. Thanks to Lianne MacDonald, whose ptfc.net site gave me my first avenue to computer technology-type-stuff. This is an excellent place to show my attempts to capture the action, but Lianne was the first, many moons ago.

  3. Great stuff as usual CD! #10 - he really caught that one, it must've stung the boy who blocked it. Would have been goal of the season.

It wouldn't have hurt him much, AG. The block was made by the defenders lower leg.

    Great pictures! x

I was in the Aitken Suite after the game and saw you all, GJ. If I'd known, I'd have grabbed a pic of you all. :happy2:

First time I think I've actually seen myself in one of the photos. Well done Jim you're getting better! :D

That's not true with me, Will, and well you know it! :thumbsup2:

  4. Unfortunately folks, doctors have put their feet down, and it's now a situation where I'm not going to be allowed to travel to away games for quite some time at least, but to slightly make up for it, here's a selection of pics from today's bizarre........yes, bizarre, under-19 team's 3-3 draw with Forfar at the Firhill complex; -

As the description says, the lads were very unfortunate to be 2-0 down in the first 10 minutes, but still, how we only came away with a 3-3 draw at the end had everyone scratching their heads, and the bars were indeed hit more times than a stag do in Amsterdam!

  5. A selection of pics from today's game against Queens park can now be viewed on the club's Facebook site, and via the link below; -

Although the lads lost 2-0, it becomes insignificant when it comes to a potentially serious injury, as happened to a Spiders lad in the 2nd half. Hope it was just a knock and not a break. I mentioned that the set was worth a look because of the pictures of Alan Archibald at half time, and the "prize" from his efforts yesterday at Falkirk.

  6. Illness meant no pics from Kirkoddy yesterday and on Tuesday, but here's a double whammy for you. Pictures and our goals from today's noon kick off Under-17 game against Hamilton Accies that our lads won 4-0 can be viewed on the official Facebook site via the link below; -

And the Under-19 team drew 2-2 (all goals coming in the 1st half) with Ayr, and a selection of action pics plus our goals can be seen at the same place via the link doon there --------->

2 games and 5 goals in under 4 hours. Enjoy.

  7. Folks. Due to ongoing (but hopefully being attended to)health problems, I couldn't make the trip, but watch out tomorrow when I'm hoping to do another double-whammy of pics from both the under-19 and under-17 games.

  8. A double whammy for you today. A selection of pics from this morning's 10am Under 19 game between us and Alloa at Toryglen, where we lost 4-2, despite massively dominating the game can be seen via the link below; -

Can I go to bed now? (After the African Cup of Nations final, of course).

Edited to add; - the Under 16 team won as well this morning. Don't know the other result.

This set is dedicated to the memory of Bryan Mccusker, a friend to a few of us Jags fans, who died tragically and unecessarily this week at the young age of 49. We had some spacey times, mucker. You will be sorely missed.

  10. A selection of pictures from this morning's Under 19 game against Clyde in a freezing cold Milton 3g pitch is now available for viewing.......etc. etc. etc.; -

The boys were desperately unlucky to lose 2-1 in this game. They went ahead in the 5th minute, but had to spend almost the entire 2nd half with only 10 men. No red cards - just that the injury situation got so bad that included in those 10 men, we had a trialist goalkeeper, who had to come on - as centre forward! The boys held on 'til 9 minutes from time for what would have been a heroic performance.
