  1. Big Galls, what a guy.

Definitely happy with a point after having the keeper sent off. We've lost games like that too many times before. The boys stood up after the penalty and ensured a decent point away from home.

Accies at home is a game in which we should be targeting 3 points anyway. If we get them, it's a very good start to the season I'd say.

  2. Is there a way you can make it look as if your outside the uk by downloading something? As you can probably tell I'm crap at these kind of things

Tunnelbear is a VPN I use on my iPad. Costs $4 a month (but I think the basic is free).

Works perfectly for me so far. It gives you the option of several countries. I pick the UK when I want to use BBC, Sky Go and the bookies websites. Just select another country and I think it should show you as outside the UK.

    Good Luck.

  3. Official DFC stream available for those outside the UK & I think Ireland. Costs £5 via Paypal.

Already paid, interested to see how the new additions to the team do.

Just paid for this as well. Looking forward to it.

I'd pay for this every week if Thistle could do it for home games. Wonder if the costs involved are higher than expected income though. I'd imagine it's like a big hole in the road (been looked into).

Why did singing that song give the impression all Catholics are paedophiles?

It was sung in the first division, and very occasionally last season.

Exactly. Where has this 'anti-catholic' accusation come from? I'm not a fan of the song myself, but fail to see how it's derogatory to the Catholic faith.

Seems like a bit of paranoia to me.

  5. I can see UEFA's dilemma here. The punishment certainly seems disproportionate to the crime but what else are they supposed to do? There needs to be a line drawn somewhere, a set of rules which if broken at all need to be addressed.

They can't have a rule, with a thousand sub-rules saying 'if a team are pumping a team 6-1 and the guy is on the pitch less than 5 mins the this rule-breaking will be overlooked'.

    Where does it end?

There needs to be a line somewhere.

  6.

Then surely these H8ns must hate their own team for the same reasons? :P Or is it because they've come down in the world they can do that?

Haha, fair enough! I only commented to stop the tarring of all with the same big brush! No deviation from thread subject intended.

  7.

Same type? So you hate them because they are catholic? Or of Irish background? Because you are one of the people and they're not?

Not at all. I hate them because of mostly football reasons, and partly because I've always found their fans to be scum (for the most part). Likewise with the currant buns. I'm just saying that there maybe some h*ns who hate them for similar reasons and not necessarily sectarian reasons.

  8.

As soon as the banned player enters the pitch, he has played a part in achieving the victory. It's clear that Billko is trying to make case for Legia being reinstated at the expense of Celtic whom Sevco's hoards of knuckle-draggers hate with sectarian venom. Do you understand now?

It's not necessarily 'sectarian venom' in all cases, might just be standard venom for some h@ns. The same type of venom with which I hate Celtic.

  9. I don't think 4 or 5 signings are required. More like two. Two additions to last seasons squad would have seen us stay up very comfortably.

My slight concern is that the glaringly obvious defects which made the first half of last season pretty tough, don't appear to have been addressed. Which is quite a surprise as I thought we would have seen last season as a lesson and sorted these issues as a priority.

Again, I still think we're stronger than Hamilton and better than Kilmarnock, possibly St Mirren, so I'm not panicking. However, with an additional forward and a left back or centre back I'd be far more content.

Last season we were understandably reluctant to spend too much money, but I'd have thought there would be a bit extra available this year to strengthen and consolidate. I think we have a real chance to nail down a place in this division for a long spell, but we need to continually improve if that's to happen. (That doesn't mean spending silly money by the way)
