Ima gonna change my Group F prediction to:

I think Iran will beat Portugal and move on w/Spain.
Put extra body on Ronaldo and take your chances elsewhere.

If/when a penalty shootout looks like a real possibility and Sammon is still on the bench, I hope Archie still has a substitution left to get him in to take the first penalty kick.

Top pic ...Glavin, McQuade, Lawrie. Aberdeen keeper Clark.
Bottom pic...Glavin, Gibson, Craig, Forsyth (?). Possibly Jarvie for Aberdeen in the distance. No 7 Varga.
4/11/1972. 0-2. Rough, Forsyth, Ralston, Glavin, Clark, Strachan, Gibson, Coulston, Craig, A Rae, McQuade. Sub:Chalmers.

Bottom pic: The No. 7 looks more like Coulston than Gibson....
Behind Kellachan.... was Andy Anderson around then?
Bottom pic: #7 does look more like Frank Coulston and the player in distance could be Forsyth, but I'm thinking that's Johnny Gibson.

Don't hit the ball out of play please....that way Osman can't get on the pitch
-
Even Michael Max is becoming delusional.
Seems to think if Thistle score one then the pressure is off Thistle and all on RC.
What?
-
I think he kicked the ball once and as usual it was back towards his own goal.
Not defending Cargill's terrible mistake on the 2nd goal but Osman the human pylon should never have put him in that spot in the first place.
Get Osman off...he offers nothing to this team.

100% in agreement with all the comments above.
Thanks to all who take time to keep the forum up and running

Cerny ...plus any 10 guys not named Osman

Thistle playing well..possession wise at least.
Not sure if that's a result of Dundee backing away from the ball (as Thistle are wont to do too often) when Thistle move forward.

................. Many fans in and around where I was sitting, which was slap bang in the middle of the Jags support, were aiming insults and abuse at Archie. Many blaming the team selection as the reason for getting caught cold. I am sure that this was borne out of frustration and disappointment which most certainly can quickly develop into such angry outbursts.
Any thoughts?
I can honestly say that never once, in all the Thistle games I went to, did I ever hurl insults, abuse or profanities at any Thistle player or manager. I may have voiced my opinion to my fellow Jags fans around me, but that was the extent of any complaints I had.
I do understand that most forked out their hard earned money to attend and feel that entitles them to do whatever they see fit to let their feelings be known.
I was never in that camp. I always viewed that as a negative and not supportive of the team and/or manager.
Not suggesting one approach is any worse or better the the other. ....to each his own.

LOL @ Erskine.
Waves at McGinn to "cover the winger because I got this guy on the ball covered"
Proceeds to allow the guy to waltz past him and has to bring him down on edge of box.
-
The difference it makes with everyone pushing 10-15 yards up the field, is quite amazing.
It even allows the defense to back off a few yards (as they are prone to do) when Celtic forwards start to press.
-
Substitute the substitute.
Erskine is terrible
-
Who's the guest on the halftime show that thinks 1-1 would be a fair half-time score?
It should be 3-1 or 4-1 Thistle

My son messaged right after the goal..
"Osman is a pylon"
I tend to agree

Cameraman could've just left the camera pointing at the Rangers half and gone for a break.
