    Can't argue with that.

800+ members on the Nomads facebook group. But only 82 Nomads use the facility?

There was a time when the Nomads wanted everything the club could throw at them. An endless goldmine of Jags abroad, ready to part with their cash...

    And less than 100 did.

If you haven't already done so, might be worth posting that on the FB page you mentioned?

Maybe many of the non-subscribers might sign up.

Top pic ...Glavin, McQuade, Lawrie.  Aberdeen keeper Clark.

Bottom pic...Glavin, Gibson, Craig, Forsyth (?).  Possibly Jarvie for Aberdeen in the distance.  No 7 Varga.

4/11/1972.  0-2.  Rough, Forsyth, Ralston, Glavin, Clark, Strachan, Gibson, Coulston, Craig, A Rae, McQuade.  Sub:Chalmers.

Top pic, I think the second "biggest" Jags player after Glavin is Charlie Smith.

Bottom pic: The No. 7 looks more like Coulston than Gibson....

Behind Kellachan.... was Andy Anderson around then?

Bottom pic: #7 does look more like Frank Coulston and the player in distance could be Forsyth, but I'm thinking that's Johnny Gibson.

  4. I think he kicked the ball once and as usual it was back towards his own goal.

Not defending Cargill's terrible mistake on the 2nd goal but Osman the human pylon should never have put him in that spot in the first place.

Get Osman off...he offers nothing to this team.

................. Many fans in and around where I was sitting, which was slap bang in the middle of the Jags support, were aiming insults and abuse at Archie. Many blaming the team selection as the reason for getting caught cold. I am sure that this was borne out of frustration and disappointment which most certainly can quickly develop into such angry outbursts.

    Any thoughts?

I can honestly say that never once, in all the Thistle games I went to, did I ever hurl insults, abuse or profanities at any Thistle player or manager. I may have voiced my opinion to my fellow Jags fans around me, but that was the extent of any complaints I had.

I do understand that most forked out their hard earned money to attend and feel that entitles them to do whatever they see fit to let their feelings be known.

I was never in that camp. I always viewed that as a negative and not supportive of the team and/or manager.

Not suggesting one approach is any worse or better the the other. ....to each his own.
