  1. We've been linked with ex-Scotland international Steven Saunders who has been freed from Motherwell.

He's a right back if as I understand. It could be a sign that SOD is away to DUFC.

Saunders would be a good replacement.

would we not be due money if sod was to leave though? surely that would rule him out going up there.

  2. absolutely nae interest shown by either channel which is shocking, who cares less aboot john higgins getting nocked oot at the 1st round of the snooker or which horse raman has lost money on? total joke. more fool them though as the coverage by PTFC/TV was brilliant and slightly made up for not making it. I see even sky sports news made an effort.

  3. Fantastic last-gasp performance today by the Jags at New Broomfield! All four SFL1 matches today were away wins. Attendances were all very similar: Airdrie v PTFC - 1648 (and BBC Scotland reckons 1400 of those were Jags fans!); Morton v Dunfermline - 1634; Livi v Accies - 1607; and Raith Rovers v Cowden - 1574. C'mon the Jags! A win at home on Tuesday and the party will start for real!

a draw shall dae it..mo'n the mighty Jags! what a season! :thumbsup2:

  4. First of all, that's the point. Second, no-one's suggesting that. At least they shouldn't be after reading this thread.

what to be misleading and build up fans hopes before having to read down the thread, cheers! im sure a fair few fans will see that title and may well think happy days as I did, so might be better changing the title.

  5. Cant remember who we were playing but does anyone remember about 10 minutes into a game a crowd of Morton casuals entered at the City End and proceeded to walk into the shed and cause a bit of mayhem. It was surreal as we werent playing Morton. Think their game was a late postponement and they came in to seek a bit of revenge with some of the NGE/Jags casuals. It was a bit radio rental for about 5 mins!!

yeah, was half expecting it to be mentioned tbh..

as you say it was quite surreal as it wasn't our opponents that day, can remember been ushered into the shed due to my age before watching some mad guy runnin at the lot of them and flying in! then as you say a bit of madness with the thistle fans protecting our end for aboot 5 mins.. still no idea who we played that day or the score but i'll always remember that!

  6. Just heard on BBC Scotland Chic Young saying how play off would make our end of season more exciting using the Perterhead/Thistle game as an example. The bold Murdo then says "we had play offs in this country before and nobody turned up".

Were you at Tannadice "that night" Murdo you total *****.

how he's on the radio i'll never know, absolutely bereft of any meaningful points of discussion, almost laughable. awfull manager aswell, wonder if it's anything to do with branco's shot af his coupon in the world cup..

  7. They have undersoil heating, and had covers on the pitch last week,(but didn`t think to leave them down), and apparently have made no effort to clear the snow yesterday or today. Maybe they thought if they just left it, it would suddenly disappear. Every game in Scotland was on, on Saturday, including juniors. I`m sure if they had been playing one of the old firm tonight, the game would have been on. An absolute joke!

    this^^

the lack of effort shown on their part is shocking.
