I'm trying to get my computer programming friend to make an iPhone app for Thistle. Always thought that would be a winner. He's thinking about it mind you!

I didn't think Morag sounded like she was able to voice the fans opinion during last nights chat and so if she comes accross like that at board meetings then i can understand why she is not taken serious. Maggie Forsyth sounded like she could so get her back in charge.

I'd say more correctly the results have to change to stop the mass exodus from Firhill. Personally I would be surprised if the Board were to find money that they'd use it to pay off McCall. I'd think it more likely they'd give McCall the cash in January. Either scenario appears to be rather unlikely.
I can see fans depart over McCall but I'm not so certain they'd return to watch the same players managed by the likes of some of the more realistic guys available. Besides the cash being used for the pay off would have to be recouped elsewhere, which would probably preclude making an offer attractive enough for all but untried novices (McNamara/Donnelly, Maxwell) or the serially sacked (Paul Hegarty, anyone?)
Btw we've just seen the departure of three directors who anecdotally or otherwise were evidently keeping folk away from Firhill. I assume those fans are now going to return

Why not Build club facilities at the city end - maybe a recreation area for players/dressing rooms etc. And at the left of the JH Stand a small but adequate social club for the supporters. At least that way it would allow the stadium to look more like a stadium.
The main stand could then have whatever done to it that they wanna do and put small rows of seats in place for directors and hospitality. Keep the JH Stand home only and Away stand for well.. away only lol

The reason why you will not find any of your abusive comments on this thread is because we have removed them. You may not have a problem with this type of behaviour but we do and it is clearly stated in the code of conduct that abuse will not be tolerated.
I would just like to point out that the last forum did in fact close because of the abuse dished out by members of the forum and not because of the reasons you state. For the record though nobody was trying to tell you what to say or how to say it, the member was clearly just pointing out that abuse isn't wanted on this forum.
Could everyone please keep abuse off the forum. It is possible to criticise without resorting to abuse, as demonstrated by the majority of posters on this forum.
All i said was the stenny fan was an eejit its hardly abuse ffs ! I got called a moron and a troll and i don't see you doing anything about that, is that not abuse or are we going down the black/white rule of thumb ?

Yes you are entitled to your point, but any chance you could try and filter that stream of crap so that you don't actually end of sounding like the most offensive moron on the planet? I won't bother trying to spare your feelings here as you are obviously unable to make any kind of a considerate gesture yourself. Do you remember how the last forum closed? It was because the people who ran it got fed up with having to moderate posts like yours, posts too lazy to show some basic respect for other people whilst still making their point. It is possible, so why don't you start applying a little effort and see if you can use language to say what you want without trolling on every post.
Show me some proof of where i was being negative please ? The last forum closed because of folk like you who tried to take over it and tell people who was and was not allowed to post and what they were allowed to say. Pretty much like you just did there. There is no need to moderate my posts as the guys commentary was gash and he is a stenny fan so good riddance to him. We need a proffesional run club so no invites to any of the past has-beens please.

Seriously, I have had an uninspiring and recent first hand experience of how difficult it is to engage with the powers that be at Firhill and the response that I have had from the Jags Trust has been light years ahead of PTFC. So I wish you all the best on Friday.
The question that I would like to know is whether the Board are meeting before they meet the Trust's representatives or afterwards?
Its not about wether i can do a better job or not, and for that i think i could. The trust are the puppets of the board of directors, always have been and always will be until they grow some cahones and start siding with the fans - and thats all fans not just the ones who pay for a paper certificate to be part of the in crowd. It is time for action from the Trust but as usual i feel they will be left years behind and playing catchup, believe me if i thought the trust could make moves to oust the board and take control or help others to control i would be there but until then its just an old mans club where you all pat each other on the back and have pointless meetings that go nowhere.
