Just wanted to know peoples opinions after today's result. The players and management had two weeks to prepare and come up with a solution to win a must win game. I didn't see much fight or desire today. Hate to say it but....top six to championship wouldn't surprise me.
Give him to the end of the year and if nothing's changed then we have the winter break to get a new manager in. Agree we should keep the faith but you can only do it for so long before it's blind faith.

Would’ve rather kept Strachan to be honest but I’d go for Paul Lambert if there was no choice.

You just quoted yourself and said 'this', right?
I was trying to say that Yellow and Redneck was making the same point as me except with a bit more content.

I can't believe that we haven't won a league game in close to 6-months because of bad luck. This has been a systemic issue since even before the split last season. The reason we haven't won in our last 13 league games seems simple to me: we score too little, we concede too many, and we don't have the fitness and/or bottle to protect a lead for 90mins.
This and this.
There's only so much bad luck you can have!

Some poor behaviour at the weekend (v Hearts), empty buckfast and vodka bottles in the toilets and smoking of weed in the stand. I had to move my kids away from the main area due to the stench.
Far be it from me to judge given my record as a teenager but concerning none the less. Any thoughts or am i being a miss jean brodie
I've seen that a few of the Northy lads have sneaked in Bucky the past few games. Hangover(no pun intended) from the Rangers games recently? Who knows what they were thinking.

Or maybe it's largely bad luck? it seems feasible to me

Injuries are now becoming chronic and there seems to be a group of players that always seem to have a niggling injury. There must be a serious problem in the way the club are treating injuries as to have this many injuries is just not normal. Osman, Dumbuya and Cerny seem to be forever injured. What's going on behind the scenes? Player fitness also seems to be a problem towards the end of most games, I know we have a sport scientist but something is going seriously wrong and until we tackle this problem we can't be expected to go to the next level with this team and challenge for European places.

doolan hadn't run out of steam but was subbed and he didn't look too happy about it
the sooner cerny is back the better
Doolan was subbed so that we could sit back more and as usual it didn't work. We changed from a 3-4-1-2 to a 3-5-1-1, we need to stop going on the defensive when we're 1 goal up in the last 10 minutes, if we had kept attacking we probably would've got another goal and killed the game off as we had them on the ropes.

There were more damaged seats than usual .yesterday.
Returning to the JHS after sevco is like taking a seat on a train after someone reekin of BO.
I imagine the club does a pre and post sevco seat assessment and then bills them for the wilful damage by the low life.
All the rows around me were fine but there's probably more damaged saeats than usual because it was 2 games in a row.
-
Just to put it into perspective we drew with Sevco twice (in ordinary time) so we should have no fear from Hearts as they're still in a bit of mess from the 'laptop manager' era.
-
I think we can rattle the Hearts. I'm very positive even after last night. Remind me again...why is the kick off 4pm? Is there something else happening?
Who knows what it could be;)

Were you at Dingwall knightswood? Utter bollox
No I wasn't at Dingwall

Not much of a statement.

Because it was the fans property in the clubs care.
If you leant a mate something and he lost it, you would expect the mate to replace it, wouldn't you ?
Oh right, just that I seen a guy called Manpreet on twitter saying that it was the club's property.
-
At least 70 seats wrecked in the JHS
Source?
-
We will of course pay to have these replaced, while the police continue their investigations.
Why should Thistle pay for it? It wasn't Thistle fans that took the flags.
-
Can you just turn up on Tuesday and pay in at the North? Or do you need a ticket in advance?
Not completely sure but I'm about 90% certain you have to get a ticket in advance

Looks like Big Conor Sammon will be available after all

Lineups for Tuesday?
Cerny (if fit)
Keown Devine Turnbull
McGinn Edwards Bannigan Elliott
Spittal Doolan Erskine
-
You think we could get a flag the size of of the north stand reading "you let you club die" on time for Tuesday?
I'd love to help pay for that!
On another point Sevco should be paying for those thieving junkie h**s misdemeanours if we don't get them back. I've got a good feeling we'll manage to get them back as the police can look at the guy's account details who posted it on Instagram and find out who he is.

Saw the picture on Instagram of our Amsterdam, Nomads, and Jordanhill flags in the hands of Rangers fans. Is it true?
Hardly surprising. I saw on BT Sports when the camera panned that there were tons of Rangers shirts in the North Stand that the stewards did nothing about. That's what happens when a club like ours gives fans like them free run of the place.
Yeah I seen it on twitter it's real. I never seen any Rangers shirts in the Northy and I was bang in the middle of it.

Win this and we're back at Hampden coupled with it will be season over for the Blue Nuns. A must win then
Things that will happen if we beat Rangers on Tuesday:
Pedro might get sacked
We'll get a day out at Hampden
Rangers twitter pages and forums will be a right laugh
Feel free to continue this

Is this the official thread for Tueday?

Has it been definitely confirmed that Chris Erskine is suspended for Tuesday?
My (admittedly limited) understanding is that the suspension is served in the same competition unless the dismissal was for "violent conduct". So I presume for example handball, diving, timewasting or non-violent swearing at the referee would not be deemed to be violent conduct. Is every "physical foul" violent conduct? If so, Chris will be suspended. If not, I would have thought that the level of violence has to be assessed by someone (presumably the referee). While definitely a red card offence, this was more of an accidental lunge endeavouring to recover a loss of control of the ball rather than an intentional two feet flying through the air in a deliberate attempt to injure the other player type of challenge.
So, if relevant, has the referee definitely reported this as violent conduct thus putting Chris out of the game on Tuesday?
Could someone with the relevant knowledge of the rules correct any misconceptions!

Just a few points:
Barton CANNOT play in the midfield again, we have to play him as a sweeper. Keown needs a boot up the a**e, he's been dreadful the last two games and Nitriansky just isn't cutting it, if we only had Penrice available McGinn could go back to right back. We'd probably be better with McGinn at right back and Nitriansky at left back. We should be playing McCarthy in the midfield alongside Bannigan(if he's fit). The team seriously lacks pace and width without Elliott.
Cerny
Devine Barton Turnbull
McGinn McCarthy Bannigan(Edwards if not fit) Nitriansky
Spittal Doolan Erskine
