I see, however, that your club has confirmed that the French striker Bengelloun - you know, the one you were all dribbling over - hasn't signed for your club, either.
We signed Bachirou, you know, the one that's much better than anyone in your midfield of nondescripts.
I know I really shouldn't bite BUT.....
...That'll be the Morton that have finished below Thistle in how many seasons? Even the one season when they did finish above us in the league, we still managed to get promoted instead of them with possibly the worst Thistle team in living memory.
Morton will be back in Div 3 when Rae pops his clogs.
....but then again: Partick can't afford to replace their decrepit players asthe debt mounts, losing supporters and tearing down their stadium. You can't even afford to sack your manager.
Is it any wonder Clyde fans are getting excited about playing you four times in a season again?

What is it with Partick Thistle and holding onto players that are quite clearly finished i.e. McNamara, Archibald, Rowson, Donnelly?

I suppose fans of other clubs that browse match photos of other team matches either have inordinate time on their hands or lead exceptionally sad lives.
It didn't exactly take me all day to sift through pictures of Partick fans and spot the reprobates.

What would you deem success for Morton this season ? Really haven't offered much since your return to the division but a lot off positive soundings coming out of Cappielow as to having a good season and may be even challenging for title, certainly Moore wants to be winning the league in next 3 seasons. This french guy Fred getting a lot of good press.
Nothing other that finishing above aforementioned transfer diddies such as Cowdenbeath, Partick and Stirling Albion, would be seen as success.

St Johnstone have allowed McCaffrey to leave to join us on a season-long contract. He was originally only going to be joining on a short term deal.
If we continue to fail to score goals I can see Moore using his St Johnstone contacts for a loan of a striker.
Adams has joined Dundee until the end of the 'calander year' according to the St Johnstone site.

When did that go through ? Paper states it is being looked at and may go through in next 48 hrs. See you also gave up on Lithgow.
You'll need a few loan deals with Smyth and Greacen as your centre backs.
We have Smyth, Greacen, McGregor and now McCaffrey in contention for the center back positions. Young Grant Evans on-loan from Hamilton has played there the last two games but is more likely to feature at right-back - where in my opinion he's best.
In other news: our new signing Tarik Bengelloun is banned until October - and nobody knows why.

For what it's worth the Glaswegian is reporting that McCall is still hopeful of signing Flannagan today.
Glad that Halliwell's signed though I wasn't over concerned whether it was ahead of the Clyde game.
Flannigan has opted to stay put as he feels he now has a better chance than ever of game-time in the SPL.

He refused a deal with QoS earlier in the week. I wouldn't be surprised if he's part of Partick's back-line next season. He'd certainly improve it.

Dundee must have financial troubles to allow Clarke to go. The squad was reportedly small so why let him go unless his contract could not be afforded?
OR they have four other strikers all much better than Pat Clarke?
