  1. The part that really pisses me off in the club statement is that they wished ' Our intention had been to afford the Trust the same opportunities as TJF had previously enjoyed'

All I can say on that one is I wished TJF had been offered the same opportunities in the last 2 years regarding negotiating fan ownership as clearly PTFC Trust have been given.

  2. Sandy I feel your statement regarding the TJF 'nine'  board is quite wrong and disrespectful,  the current board have gotten no further in reality than the previous board did.

Correct me if I am wrong ?

Yes membership now at 700 when it was around 600 previously increased massively since put down to a pound which I think is a masterstroke and should swell the numbers :)

Judging by Scally's preview we are struggling for numbers. Poster on P&B reckons we're putting a youth academy striker on the bench today.

That sounds like the number of fit strikers is getting worse rather than better. So is Alegria out after his injury against Dunfermline?

With Mayo also out it could be a very experimental line up again.

Seen nothing from the Rangers player will not be a loss, yet another let down to add to the list from Ipox.

Jukka Santala was different he was sent to us as a defender, I right we will decide where he plays.

Caroline wins as often as you FT :D

Any idea of the prize money?

For those interested the prize money for the triple rollover was £ 192 and said sum has been donated to the PTFC women's team. Caroline purchases around £ 15 to £ 20 worth of tickets every game as part of a syndicate with friends so better chance to win.

  5. Personally don't see why Osman is the captain of the team, no need for that stupid challenge in the middle of the park, 4 up and on a yellow.

Fecking clown and not what I would expect of a captain, what kind of example is he setting with that. Plus is he that vocal ? Don't think I have ever seen him shout and arrange players.

On his day a great player and not a personal attack intended but last season & recently a liability imho. Thoughts ?

  6. Well that was a right boot in the Georgie Dawes for many reasons. Two points dropped, two important players crocked and when they hobbled down the touch line in the second half they didn't look as if they would be fit for next week, especially Abs, was waiting for Thistle for £180 on two coupons that started last night. Plus points...thought Amoo played as well as he has this season when he came on and Ade did some tremendous hold up work, up front. MOTM for me, by the proverbial country mile, was Niall Keown. The boy didn't lose a header all afternoon and has an old head on his young shoulders. If Liam does leave, it would be great if we could get young Niall in as a replacement. As for the referee, I honestly thought Collum had improved this season, but he was back to his whistle happy, infuriating worst today. Just why he booked Amoo for his first foul when it was hardly a vicious assault, only he can explain

Will never be able to afford him so might as well bin that idea now !

  7. And there are teams in the leagues below us with bigger supports than us - should they get our SPFL place?

Your comment sounds like the kinda p1sh that and Old Firm would write about us.

Wow talking about Hamilton ffs worst supported team at their home and away !

  8. 3,057 and according to the Accies twitter account 269 of their fans were in attendance.

Biggest piss poor support of any team an the Premier league, 2nd or 3rd division is the level they should be.

  9. Only three league teams in England had a lower attendance than us yesterday - Accrington, Rochdale, and Crawley. Ross County had more than us for their game versus St Johnstone not noted for their away support.

Given that we've just gone 6th, this suggests some or all of the following:

    - it's too expensive.

    - it's rubbish.

    - it's not possible for Thistle to attract new fans no matter how well we do.

I remember the guy who pumped money into Motherwell being gutted when their average crowd actually fell despite being in the top 3 for a couple of seasons.

On the other hand Firhill was rammed for that great night when we beat Morton to pretty much guarantee promotion - only 4 years ago.

    Any hope?

I never compare us to English teams we have a much smaller population at 5.5M than 60M English plus we live in a city populated by the bigot brothers.

The product is expensive for what it is worth and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

The product on it's day is brilliant but as a game it is changeable, some you win and sadly more we lose !

We will never attract more fans than we have due to the peer pressure on the future generations to follow the filth. Been the same in all my 40 years and don't see it changing anytime soon.

  10. Wow that was shit.

We do not deserve to be top six if we play like that against teams as astonishingly dreadful as Killie.

Edwards was excellent today and Amoo was okay but the rest of the team were poor or mediocre. Welsh was slower than a tortoise with a brain haemmorage. Lawless was very off his game. Osman was standing off folk far too much. Fraser was a bit of a headless chicken when he came on. Miller kept on getting caught in nomansland and should be dropped for Dumbaya.

Cerny seemed a bit suspect at times today and was a wee bit fortunate with the offside goal. Really slow to get the ball out to the fullbacks too.

Defensively Seaborne and Frans were fine, but offensively it was all hoofball.

Pogba was fine but no great shakes and any threat he or anyone else posed died in a ditch when Edwards came off. Doolan had no chance with long balls being hit straight down the throat of the troll from Harry Potter.

As soon as you mentioned Welsh I gave up. The man is always in the game always looking for the ball. WTF is wrong with people that totally bellend a player who has been through so much including a huge injury ?

  11. Pogba can win the ball in the air. We've all seen him do it. So there is no question he has the ability to go toe to toe with any centre half.

However he didn't jump once to attempt to win a header.

He didn't win one header all day.

Yet, I'm willing to guess we won 95% of the "second balls" in the middle of the park off the back of the centre half winning the header.

With killie defending high up the park that put us in possession in front of their back four with our players facing their goal.

Now if he was as shite as you suggest, why did three players go over to congratulate him on his contribution as he was subbed.

Do you think it was a tactic that rather than him go toe to toe. Archie identified that their centre half's are shite at clearing headers and told him just to ruffle them up, put pressure on them and it was the midfield job to pounce on the sec9nd ball?

    Your words not mine !

    Nuff said !

  12. Completely agree, there's a reason the stand was chanting Doolan 60 mins in, it's coz the big man just couldn't be arsed today. he's not alone in being rank, lawless was honking but when I see a player throw his arms in the air constantly and moaning at team mates when he can't even be bothered to attempt to win a header then surely that's got to translate onto the pitch.

Pass marks today for gary Miller for effort, booth as always and amoo. The Edwards sub puzzled me, his energy and fitness seem first class and I thought he was having a decent game, gary Fraser when he came on was shocking. His 30 yard effort summed it up for me. I know there's stuff behind the scenes but giving him game time at the moment is not helping.

End of the day a point gained not dropped based on chances, just a disappointing performance.

Agree with all you say apart from Lawless, honestly feel the wee man gives 100% at all times !

  13. Thought the first half was great. Amoo and Pogba were stand outs with Miller link8ng up really well with them. Best 45 I've seen from Welsh this season.

Anyone who rubbishes Pogba on today's performance does not know a thing about tactics or maybe doesn't watch what's happening during a game.

Second half was really poor. All the good work fell apart. Balls started breaking to them instead of us.

As for killie. Sitting second bottom of the league and time wasting 20 minutes into the first half at nil nil? Get it up ye.

That will be me then Davie that your talking about.

The big fella scores his 2nd goal of the season the other week at Hamilton and in my opinion having been at the game today he couldn't be arsed jumping for the ball.

Correct me if I am wrong but as a target man should he not win some and lose some ? He won next to feck all today and needs a size 9 before he puts Dools out of the team again.

Im 48 and my 1st game was when I was 8 so I have seen plenty of games to understand what's going on thanks !

  14. Pogba I would chase on that performance today, his lack of ability at lifting his feet off the ground is shocking.

He should have been putting himself all over the Killie defence given his size but barely won a header. Lazy end of !

Cerny good keeper , probably the best we have had in years but FFS sort your distribution of the ball out ! Talk about slowing the game down, If only he could bring a little bit of Jonny Tuffey in to his game....I will dream on.
