  1. Congratulations to everybody connected to the club to some extent.

It´s been some kind of achievement. Hopefully, it will be the first of many top-six finishes.

It never stops me fom thinking that, if Dundee United had not made an offer to McNamara, Morton would have been promoted instead of us and this would have not been achieved.

Looking forward to going back to Scotland to watch Thistle after a hiatus in my annual visits.

  2. go to Ibrox to support QoS, Hibs, Falkirk or Motherwell v. Sevco in the play-offs

I would, especially if it was a second leg with the tie level or Sevco behind

Maybe someone can clarify this but I think Motherwell would always play at home in a play-off final second leg match v the team from the Championship. Just as Hibs did at Easter Road last season although not even a 2-0 win from the first leg was enough.

Unlike last season, even the team in fourth place now, QOTS, have a good chance of being promoted as they seem to have hit good form in the right moment. But it would nice to see Hibbees going and winning at Ibrox for the third time in the same season.

  3. I don´t think the Spanish Under-19 league competition is strong enough to give us a real judgement about the boy, as it´s divided in 7 regional groups. Real only play teams within the municipality of Madrid.

But it is in the Under-19 Champions League competition where the boy has proved he´s quality and can score goals. Sbragia is in his right not to pick him but it´s a disgrace when he says he´s not watched him enough. Lack of funds from SFA? Lack of wanting to catch a flight to Madrid? He simply looks like staying in a comfort zone.

  4. Got searched at Edinburgh Airport when flying back home after one of my Scottish football weekends. Then asked to put my feet in a especial X-rays machine, then asked during 4-5 minutes about my reasons to visit the country. I suspect the reason for that was travelling alone and without hand-baggage.

All very polite despite the fact it was a Hearts fan who did the job.

  5. Ridiculous rule anyway.

Absolutely ridiculous. I´m not sure if that rule still applies when knock-out ties come. I mean, with the second round matches spread all around four Tuesdays and four Wednesdays for tv purposes, there is only March 3rd & 4th available for us poor clubs. I don´t know how can a re-scheduled match like, let´s say Ross C. v Thistle on March 11th, affect Chelsea v PSG on the same night.

  6. Don´t you get the perception Hearts are a Premier League club playing in the lower league( for whatever reason).

While you don´t get that feeling with Rangers. The higher they reach, the poorer they look.

  7. Could it be that this year there have been two lads wearing a Jags top in the bulls´race? One of them the lad that has been doing so for the past two or three years then on Tuesday or Wednesday I think I saw another lad on tv running with what seemed another MacB top and a red cap on his head? He was around ten yards ahead of the other lad. I have tried to find a picture but no luck ATM.

  8. When I hear someone from this forum moaning about the media space OF are given, I can really get the whole idea about it, after all, it´s 100% the same here with both Barcelona & Real. It´s dreadful, disgusting and leads this country to look more and more like Brazil or Agentina, football first, then famine, health or whatever.

I couldn´t have been happier with Atletico winning but it´s has been written in their history many times. At least they won the league last week, first time since 96.

Footballwise, it is ironic that, had Costa been used, for example, as a time-wasting substitution in the last 5 minutes, he would have been marking Ramos, probably doing a better job than Villa or any of the Atletico strikers defending that corner.

  9. Another highlight from this weekend´s attendances is that nine matches outside the top flight had more than 1,000 fans, including the match at Stirling in the basement league. Wish it was like that in Scottish football every weekend.
