  1. Stuff I got was really good. If people reckon £2.99.'s a bit steep I can understand that.I don't know the prices joma were charging- if ive paid over the odds at 3 quid then hey pretty surprised at the worry about last years stock! !

  2. I got a messga from this fella selling jags stuff. I wasn't sure at first, but sent him some dough and he sent me some cracking gear for the kids. Real good quality, and great prices. I said I'd let a few other Jags fans know about it-- well worth a look.

  3. Come on now laddie !!!. Calm doon. Surely you can be more aware of whats going on, while you dander along the pavement?. Those roads can get a wee bit busy, and a wee jink up the pavement saves a bit of time. You'd probably have had your headphones on, and not able to hear the polite tring tring of the poor fella's bell.

As for the "old" dude with the shaved legs--- he's mibbe just cycled so hard that the friction has worn all the hair off !!!

  4. In response to the original post, Yes cheesecloth man, I think there may be room for a separate supporters group to be established, however, the people who's voice may want to be recognised is not on this particluar forum. many may indeed not have internet facilities, or choose not to be involved in this kind of repetitive debate.

I've never been asked to join any of the forementioned groups, and I genuinely have no knowledge of what they all stand for, or hope to achieve. ( My first game was in 1976, and I'm 43 now). I reckon that most of the Jags hard core support( and due to work commitments I dont include myself in that) would be happy to have a voice that they could identify with, have a beer with, tell everyone who the were, where they'd be, would be happy to see that at least they knew others thought the same, and it was getting heard by the club.

It would all depend on what agenda the new group had, but an organised voice has my full support.

  5. I am going to stick my neck out here and accept the consequences.

We have not lost at home in the league to morton,in the last 6 games.winning 5 of them.

I can see it being 6 in 7.

    2-0 jags.

I think that, my friend, is exactly the rationale to propel Thistle to a statement to the league kind of win.

  6. According to the official site, the last time we met Ayr was in the Challenge Cup campaign of 2010.

I had completely forgotten about our first goal: Brilliant possession football, with a great cross and finish.

    Good stuf

Last time I saw Ayr was when those farmers from Perth couldn't drain their pitch, and a dozen Jags fans took their own way into Scottish Cup fun, by taking the StMirren express to Ayr. The Hoor obliged with a late pen. Too much booze, loadsa fun!!!!--- and the ayr panda gave us all a hug. !!!!

  7. Lack of organisation has meant that my mates and I have missed the cheap fare. In 15 years of following Thistle I've never got a supporters bus.......can we get the bus up there but return on the train?

Duncan will surely be good for that if he's got space. city centre bus.

  8. Bet365.com offering Jags at 9/4 to beat Falkirk. Dodds and Millar out for Falkirk who are now playing youngsters, eight out of 11 under 21, one of which is Sixteen.

they'd be better off giving odds on who's gonna go bust first.

  9. Hey, Jags fans. I,ve hit an internet cafe, just about to leave Pamplona. This is the second most visited festival in Europe, so It aint just me who enjoys it. I,m well aware of animal rights activists, and have a well formed constructed opinion which i am more than willing to discuss with people.

    Here is a fact.

1 of the worlds most respected bull runners used to run the curve in a C**t*c top.

I enjoy the rush, and would respectfully suggest that anyone who has any difficulty with my use of my time digs me out and has a chat. I am no fool, although some people may have an other other opinion of me. Suit yourselves, but to me, someone with no name, and an anonymous internet persona, doesn´t quite meet up with the way I see things.

Thanks for the decent stuff peeps, I´m just a Jags fan havin fun x

  10. Struggling for jokes. Trying not to use the usual jokes from the internet and would welcome any recommendations from people on the board.

North Wales for the honeymoon aint bad. --- well he said he was going to Bangor for 2 weeks.

  11. This season sadly finished in Perth, and a general flatness has engulfed us. The uncertainty of manager, budgets etc. Surely now is the time to be planning a decent pre-season run of games. Give us all a bit of enthusiasm, and crucially, a decent away trip. Whitley Bay ? York ? even Stornoway !!!.

  12. I passed Richard Gough on Byers Road when walking home from the midweek game with QOTS a few weeks ago.

This probably has absolutely no bearing on whether he'd be interested or whether we'd take him on, but I thought I'd let everyone know anyway.

Thats good of you.!! I met Jim Duffy in the Swallow hotel gym changing room when i jinked in for a pish. Just saying.

  13. I always seen this place when walking down to the Barras but it seems that it's gone after a fire during the week. The entire row of shops are just gone now.

Anyone know the history behind all the Jags stuff painted everywhere? I'm sure there was something on the old forum about it but obviousy it's gone now too.

Schipka pass belonged to an old guy who owned a stack of proerty in the Barras and surrounding area. Hias surname was Barton, Dick his first name ui tyhink. He used to go round the pubs in Maryhill with his own photo and ask landlords tpo put it up behind the bar. Think he's deid now

  14. Most, if not all, people who travel with Thistle probably do. Question for you, Gus. Just how many times have you been punted from a game, or lifted afterwards. The most pathetic instance I can remember was seeing you collared after punching (!) a car outside Fir Park. Most of us manage to go to games, do a bit of singing and last 90 minutes. Some of us, including myself - not claiming to be an innocent - might come close to the line, but know how to draw it in. You, it would appear, don't. Now, I'd say you must be in your early-mid forties. That has to be two-bob rocket territory.

You may know who I am, Adam !!, but you dont know me. I've been punted from Dens once, McDiarmid twice, inc last night, Inverness once, Livi once,( apology from Livi received later) and Firhill once. Love st when we won the league. I've never been arrested, have never been charged, and have always had a chat with Police on way out.

Maybe your idea of close to the line is different to me, but I dont want to sit on my hands like many stewards would suit. We've all seen people stand up at a match, maybe thats "close to the line " !!!. Get a grip, people like you, and the stewards from last night will get football stopped.

A guy spat on me in that car. !!!!. I didnt like it, and his car was nearest I'd get to him. I find it pathetic, that fools like you can hide behind some stupid cartoon character and offer these opinions.

Over and out, unless you want to meet and have a beer ?

  15. Re. the guys that were chucked out; fair doos, let's get frothy if they were punted for simply trying to create an atmosphere. But let's be honest, we all know who they are and they're both two-bob rockets. Let's not make martyrs out of them.

Two bob rockets !!!!! Whahahahahahahahahaha, bit personal Adam ?. Do you know me? Bit judgemental? I stood, sang and clapped most of game. I wasn't spoken to once by a steward or Police to ask me to sit down, until I was ejected. Straight red. !!!. I didnt swear once and I was not intoxicated. Loads of comments here about good jags support, I believe I helped that. I know who brought the smoke bomb in, do you think that he is more of a 2 bob rocket than me ?

    Lighten up, chill out.
