Fellow jags, A leak in a bathroom on Friday night led to water coming through the ceiling via my downstairs fire alarm and 2 light fittings. As there has been no major damage caused apart from wet light fittings/fire alarm knackered (the offending pipe was replaced), I am considering the cost/benefit of an insurance claim. I want a new alarm system put in, I reckon it would be 2 alarms one upstairs and one downstairs. The one upstairs is tempermental so best getting it done as well. Looking for an idea on cost of this, or even better, could anyone recommend someone? I am based in Clarkston. Cheers.
