Sam Leitch Loyal
Was watching Spartak Moscow v Rubin Kazan earlier on today. After a first-half deluge the Rubin players changed their shirts at the break but Rondon (#99) came out wearing Natcho's jersey (#66) and vice versa. The strange thing was nobody noticed until Natcho saw "himself" being booked from fifty yards away. Anyone else come across any other weird goings-on? SookeJag
Arsenal Sunderland. McClean of Sunderland had to leave the pitch as he had white tape holding his shin guards in place, had to change to blue, same colour as his socks. He also had his name wrong on his jersey McLean. They also said all pitches in the EPL must be the same size, no alterations to suit your team. Sigesige will love this. brick_top
This type of balls even happens at amatuer level. A ref came to us before a match last season and told us that all "undergarments" (body armour, cycle shorts) MUST be the same colour as the outer-wear. Then, the opposition, who wear all red, come out. Except for one guy who, as they obviously didn't have enough red ones, is wearing BLUE shorts?? So, undergarments must be the same colour as the strip you're wearing, but that strip, it seems, can be any colour of the flippin' rainbow
