alas my time in sunny new zealand has come to an end, i have given up on missin the tattie scones, irn bru & squared sausages. I played my final game for dunedin technical, came on as a substitute and got us a penalty, which i duly declined to take as i knew i was skying it. we lost 3-1 (it was 3-0 by the time i came on) it turns out attacking midfield is the position i should be playing in lol. not only that but i played a gig 3 nights ago, and it was such an epic night, i played bass and had the people grooving before the gig had started. we had a 10 minute set for battle of the bands and unfortunatly we f***** up the last song and didnt get through. my gf will be putting the videos up on the net, so once that is done ill send yous it. and yous can comment on how un-jethro tull it is. anyway, my flight is on sunday and im looking forward to coming back to sunny firhill.

ive noticed alot of people state that thistle have got nothing to do with politics, i think this is wrong i think based on the fact we reside in glasgow and share it with the 2 main clubs who are the main suspects of sectarianism and bigotry we are just as much within politics as much as the old firm. Do you want people to think of glasgow and think celtic rangers hate bigotry sectarian fighting etc.. of course not I believe thistle are just as much within politics as the old firm, and i dont think with just them alone they can stop bigotry and sectarianism in scotland. Why is it hard to believe that we can be a voice in glasgow, Just because were a smaller club, we deserve to be in glasgow just as much as the other 2. If were not about politics, why were people saying that thistle took swift and proper action on the player that got booted 2 weeks ago for this very same topic. I think we can actually be the Great Glasgow Alternative. but we have to voice who we are. We are Thistle!!!

i get what everyones saying. i just thought it would be a good idea that we could use all of it to our advantage to reassure people that this doesnt go on at firhill, and that all are welcome and possibly could capitilise from it and it wouldnt have to be just a thistle campaign but could get other teams onboard apart from the usual suspects and im not talking just the old firm. i agree with the kids go free but I want thistle to be more 'out there' with getting peoples attention and bringing in new supporters. we play in a city that i think people are starting to get sick and fed up of all that is going on. we should show them the light!

Just thinking about all the goings on in scotland atm, well in football especially. Should partick thistle start up a campaign against bigotry or to some effect. Ive thought a name for the scheme "Not In A Jags Shirt". Mean i see thistle coming up with schemes to fill firhill etc but shouldnt we give a little Any thoughts on this

He was good player that worked well with derek fleming n i always liked him playin for us. Just noticed hes at scunthorpe united and only played a few games in afew years. I wish we had signed him

i understand what your saying but like. the only change the spl want to make, is just to have the old firm play everyweek of the season. so no league changes will ever be made that benefits any other team outwith the old firm. one of my mates told me in america (either soccer or american football) the worse teams get more money than the best to purchase players. (awesome idea)
