  5. http://fb.me/6xnHL7ji4 Hey guys,I am a life long thistle fan and I am never of this thing but never post,I follow the jags as often as possible ,for reasons I don't go as much as I did, mibbie 10-15 a season but that does not dilute my love for the club. I lost my daughter Eilidh Brown to cancer 5 years ago,I don't think I need to explain how this affected me .. Since then I have set up a charity to build a holiday respite home in thornhill between Glasgow and Stirling ( I stay in Stirling)this house will be stunning and we have raised around £313,000 without any grants or stuff- we are a small team just us,my wife and I and a couple of mates .... Sooooo I guess I'm getting in touch with you to let you know what we are doing and to raise awareness ,we are having a golf day as part of our ongoing fund raising and if any of you fancy it that would be amazing..... The date is on the 12 July ( just pure coincidence I am a real Thistle fan ) and I'm looking for teams, support, etc .....I know we have to look after our selfs first but I thought long and Hard about this and I'd like to share this with you,I'm not begging but if you are into this cool,if not the same . As I said before I'm not a regular poster,I put up a post when I first lost my daughter ,we had a fund raiser at Stirling Albion v Us ,we shook a few buckets and the Thistle fans were amazing thank you xx(we won 3-0) I don't know how I can put a flyer up in this forum but I will if I can,at advice will be helpful . Here is a link to a small video that explains things a bit more I hope.... http://fb.me/1G8hOpXRJ If you want details about the golf please check out www.eilidhbrown.co.uk ,or get in touch with me [email protected] Also may I add whilst I'm on this that I think this team and last years have been the best teams I've ever seen,I go on this every day more than once and I'm delighted that some of the negative peoplesmouths are silent for the moment ....mon the jags love to you all 3 points lets do this Apoligies for my crap text ..... Ps if I am being totally honest I might make 10 games a season, but before it was every week xxxx

  7. thanks to you all, didnt want to get thistle involved in a way ,you know it is something that is very very precious to me and it would have only taken one schneidy comment and it woud have put me of a club i have loved for 30 ish years....not that i thought jags fans would but you know-cheers
  8. hey first time ive ever written on a forum so sorry if i make a mess of this-just wanted to thank you for posting about the fundraiser last night.I am Eilidhs dad we lost her a year ago this friday to cancer no need to tell you how badly she is missed. i have been a thistle fan all my life as has all my family.we are aiming to build a holiday home for young children and teenagers who have been affected with cancer, not just for terminally ill as was reported on the official site.Anyway we raised £350 last night and for such a low crowdi think that was great.also couldnt help my self but i counted the two supports seperately and thistle won as i stay in stirling and know many thistle fans lets not shout about this. thanks for all being so nice to my collectors last night and if you know how to share this please do(i am crap with computers) for further info check out www.eilidhbrown.co.uk or check out eilidhs facebook page-thanks
