  1. Side note - BBC would be looking at any interesting angles for their programming.

If a TJF representative had a contact there and wanted to put a bug in their ear about what the banner means and why people are chanting as such, you might get the commentators to give an on-air mention.

It might not even take a contact - just getting to the right programming coordinators or something.

Are QP streaming this game for overseas fans?

Not likely?  Their streaming site says they are unlikely to stream any matches this year due to the Sky block.

It’s also the only game this week that my online Sportsbook isn’t offering a stream for.

  3. So frustrating, all of this.  It seems clear that 3BC’s (and supposedly, by proxy, Colin Weir’s) vision of fan ownership was considerably watered down from the get-go, at least in comparison to publicly known domestic fan ownership schemes.

Sincere thanks to the TJF boards for their time spent on this, especially given that the outcome always seemed to be certain from 3BC’s point of view.

Unless some more viable fan group emerges (or merges?) in the future, I’m pretty happy with the efforts of TJF and plan to stick around and continue contributions if I feel they will be put to good use.

From what most people have said I must be expecting too much, I’m rarely overly negative. I just thought we were really poor today. I don’t expect us to play like Barca or nothing it was how cheaply we gave the ball away that done my head in.

This for me.  I don’t mind patient football, but so many times it was just agonizing to see so many times players were out of sync with each other on 1-2’s or passes down the flank.  I thought it was bad last week but it was somehow worse today.

We’ve a great start to the season but we won’t get out of the Championship continually playing like we’ve just met each other.

  5. Been critical of Graham in the past but we really lost a steadying presence when he went off.  Not to mention someone to help defend the flurry of corners at the end.

Liked the look of Weston.  One of those wee dogs who doesn’t know he’s wee.

Thought Turner filled in adequately in defence and found himself with lots of open field a number of times.

Happy to see Tiff back on - looked speedy.

Thought Mitchell was excellent and couldn’t help wondering if the result would have been different had it been Sneddon, even though I like Sneddon a lot.

Dundee audio commentary…..we’re they contest winners or something?  Plucked off the street 15 minutes prior to the game?  Makes me appreciate our own team.

Those are my silly American post-match thoughts.  Happy Saturday all!!!

COLLECTION OF MCPARLAND PINS - SATURDAY 23rd JULY v MONTROSE

Pleased to say that the McParland Pins are ready for collection before Saturday's game against Montrose.

We will have a stall in both the Jackie Husband Stand and the John Lambie Stand. Please come and say hello to the (still new!) board members.

If you're a member and haven't yet filled in the form for the McParland Pin, please check your email, as a reminder was sent out this evening.

The form is how we are keeping track of who has and hasn't claimed a pin, to make sure that all eligible members definitely get one!

    More information here: https://thejagsfoundation.co.uk/collect-your-mcparland-pin-on-saturday/

I would love a McParland pin but I can’t pick up in person, and I missed my window of opportunity for family to bring it to me.  And I don’t want to saddle TJF with postage costs.

Is it possible to make an arrangement to PayPal someone to mail it to me?  Fifth class, delivered by a Valkyrie riding a winged beast, whatever.
