  1. Was at that game!

Me and the faither in law at the time,

Cany mind much about the fitba think it was something to do with the carry out we had!!!

The mussus uncles ex peasy and bens. But he stays abroad now. Jimmy Robertson?

dont know him sorry. everycunt was steamin in there, every **** bought booze in. went into the ground the wae it.crackin moment, terracin was shoutin quinny, quinny gies a goal. me n hughie were huggin each other in front of the the terracin. thats was my moment in the sun.
  2. you need players like bobby law, kevin mckee in this position, who will totally hurt themselves for the cause. i like players who hurl themselves at the ball then get back on their feet n kiss the badge. we need scrappers. we dont need ball players like higganbhotham. we need a team of players wae the airdrie 90s mentality.limited ability, but fine wae it, know theyre not the best players in the world but know how to play to their strengths. know their limitations n bend teams to their will. its not good football if your not gettin results. kick it long. snap. long. snap. result. done. beautiful football in my eyes is a positive result. whats beautiful about passin it about then gettin beat. someone tell me. it's all about basics. we deal wae the basics. fine. then we can think about kickin the ball about

  3. its not archies fault, end of the day. players have to go out do it for him. i think people have sold him short. when i played i gave it 100% we need sean welsh back. he'll try his heart out

  4. petershill are lookin for players. any 1 of u played for peasy, message me. danny drew said he'd play for uz nae prisoners wae that toerag. ive got budgie mcghie, hughie farrell, stevie rankin, martin welsh and john 'the doc' docherty willin to play for us. lol john brogan wants to play for us 'as a ringer' lol. dom sullivan is gonna confirm soon. who cares if we're all pensioners?!

  5. got a nice phone call there, askin me to play in a st rochs legends v peasy legends. i said 'im touched you find me a legend.' boy sed 'quinny, u were the guy who scored the goal against benburb that won us the div b in the 82-3 season.' i said ' aye i remember.' good they remember i done that. i remember the game quite well. we wur drawin 1-1 n i was a centre mid, n their goalie punted it into the middle of the park, i tried to control it but took a bad touch n kinda put the ball waist high in front of me. i put my boot in to try rectify it n kinda kung fu kicked 1 of their players in the thigh. as soon as i done it, i heard the ref peep but i went over to the guy lying on the ground n said 'sorry mate, u ok?' then i signalled someone to come on help him. the ref said 'that was an honest foul, because u didnt look at me, u looked at the guy on the ground. i know u didnt mean it, but i'll need to give u a yellow card for bein reckless.' i said ok. the bens wur fumin. they thought i should have been sent off but there was no malice in it. the game went on and hughie farrell hit a corner into the box n jimmy graham heidered it off one of their defenders n it broke to me n i smashed the ball into the net. the bens couldnt win the league but they wanted to stop us, for old firm reasons. there was maybe 1500 people at provanmill park that day. place went wild. the bens were livid, sayin that 'person' to put it politely, should have been sent off. i remember it like it was yesterday. when the full time whistle went n we won the div b, place went wild. threw my boots into the crowd, but kept my top. i've still got it in my loft. memories eh? anyway, st rochs are hopin to have a game on mayday bank holiday, get a bbq goin n hopefully raise some money fr the team. there will be a bar and plus u'll get to see my 58 yr old cacrass tryin to kick a ball. the boy who is arranging this would like to get a hold of dennis mcquade, because he played fr the candy(st rochs nickname) i'm old, said i'll kick the ball for 20 mins or so. wid be good if he wid for a bit. can someone put me in touch wae dennis?

  6. Racist abuse is illegal.

If that happens again, direct the nearest steward to the offending party or parties and demand that they are arrested by the police, or at the very least immediately ejected. I don't know how the stewards deal with offences like this at Firhill.

I have never experienced such behaviour at Firhill, but if I did, I would expect immediate action to be taken.

There is no place for racism at Firhill, corporate seats or cheap seats.

    GRASS!!!
  7. woah, hold the front page of the evening times !!

archie, your teas oot, your jacket and that shoogily peg have fallen to the floor. scram, you're binned.

beattie, get on the blower now to TMQ, give him a 5 year rolling contract, he'll do the job on a lower budget with worse players and have us challenging for europe before seasons end. #quidsinkerching!!

maxi, prepare a press release for immediate circulation. we have a tactical genius in TMQ, lets grab him before barca snap him up. what do you mean we have no stationary in stock to send faxes? nip down to waitrose and buy a few reams sometime this month then.

champions league in 2 yrs. euro champions in 5. u have my word
  8. sadly, some do blindly follow and vote for the tories, as others do with labour, not just every election out of blind loyalty, but in some families, its generation after generation. only need to look at history and certain people we all know.

it is a declining trait in more recent years, but it is still prevalent (both in scotland, and england)

totally agree yoda, the whole cretinous 'my da supported labour so i'll support labour' thing really gets me down. scotland's so blinkered to how bad these people are. i hope people will start to vote ukip
  9. i'd give it a go. i've done better with worse in football manager. anyway, lady, how hard can it be to change a system. the only way he will learn is with a bit of tinkeriing

  10. So if you vote Labour you must be doing so because you are an imbecile who can't think straight (and doesn't even try), whereas, if you vote Conservative, you must be a very intelligent fellow indeed, having carefully weighed up all the pros and cons and been persuaded to that view by your rigourous analysis... It all makes sense now..!!!

exactly mate. if u vote labour you must hate this country, because both times we've went into recession its on the back of their govt, spending outwith their means. They destroy the economy. the tories get left with the job of tidying it up, and the only way is to cut after labour's profligate spending. and they get made out to be the bad guys. OPEN YOUR EYES LABOUR SUPPORTERS. A vote for labour is a vote for mass unemployment and misery.
  11. I certainly don't favour Baird over Doolan or Lawless, just trying to figure out a way we can get the best out of him (if that is possible)

do u honestly think archibald knows how to change the system at all?

  12. Sometimes on this forum you see a post of the utmost stupidity.

It's best not to reply to those posts, imo.

something is stupid if you dont agree with it? that's the height of arrogance, as if your opinion is the be all and end all. What was stupid about what i said? i just told you the inside truth from someone who was there. The real truth before all the left wing indocrination and spin by left wing, evil crackpots
  13. Bingo. You're not my type either, I prefer interesting, intelligent conversation.

well i put up some very valid comments about mandela, then people respond with infantile insults or start hittin on me. what am i meant to do? Don't believe all the nonsense the govt tell you about mandela, it's all lies, making a scumbag sound like a saint. left wingers and their perogatives
