I got knocked over and trod on by Malcolm Allison in the 1970's outside Maine Road. We were playing Burnage High School on a school football trip and our 'reward' was a visit to Maine Road to 'enjoy' City drawing with Coventry. He never even said sorry. I also got taught by Welsh rugby legend Barry John when he was a student teacher on teaching practice.

In England, Newco would have to start again in the bottom tier of non-league football. That's what Accrington Stanley, Aldershot and (albeit in a different way) Wimbledon have done. Maidstone United just died.
And don't forget Halifax, Bradford Park Avenue, Boston Utd, Barrow, Workington and Darlington. Perhaps even Scarborough

No, but I agree with an intense dislike of the anti-bigotry, triumphalism that both sides of the OF dispense. Add cheating and the caving in to OF interests at the expense of every other club in Scotland, you get where people are coming from. The SFL are worse than useless - they wouldn't have sought to change the league structure if it hadn't been forced on them by the situation at Ibrox, and this adds to the anger that fans throughout Scotland are feeling.

The Board of Directors state that they haven't formulated their opinion and intend to take as wide a range of views as possible. Vote early and vote often. No to any deal designed to minimise Sevco's absence from the SPL.

Isn't it good to read about a player at our club instead of the sh*te surrounding Sevco and the SPL/SFL/SFA conspiracy.
-
And England lost the penalty shoot-out 4-2.

According to BBC news website, Hearts voting No to Newco.

I saw a report that Kenny has quite Grimsby, and looking for a club in Scotland.

I think Trigger lives off Kilmarnock Road in Shawlands - I've seen him there a coiple of times. In a suit, looking very smart.

BBC Sport website going into meltdown with views pro and con liquidation.

This thread got me thinking about the worst keepers we've had. Davide Klein springs to mind, and can anyone remember the name of the wee fat back-up keeper we had a few years ago - Steven Ross?
-
So Cardiff Sh**y will play in red? Who cares? The only team in Wales worth watching play in white and are known as The Swans.
-
One thing that might be concentrating the minds of other club directors is if it happened at R*ngers, might it not have happened elsewhere? The more you poke a sleeping dog, the better the chance of it biting you.

It is last chance saloon for Scottish Football, for those who will take the decisions (firstly) on supension from the game, and (in the not too distant future) then expulsion.
To save Scottish Football, the chairmen and other major footballing decision makers HAVE to realise the gargantuan catalogue of shame, cheating and deceit that has been decades long emanating from the sewer of Govan, Ibroke. And they MUST act and punish in a manner reflective of the crimes. The EBT's for instance date back 13 YEARS - and that is only the period they (HMRC, not the football authorities FFS !!) have investigated, rumours are abound of the financial and other illegal shennanigans for what preceeded that on countless levels. Add in the h u n s total lack of respect for their competitors and sporting integrity of the game, and the other 100+ levels of shame and cheating that can be levelled at the blue arsecheek, then nothing less than throwing the book at the Oldco, and banishing them forever would suffice.
And if a Newco is started, and claims to be RFC Mk2 or even resembles anything of the former embarrassment (1 or more of the following for instance: plays at Ibroke, has a clearly 'R*ng*rs sounding/affiliated name, plays in blue, claims the history of the 'aye ready' mob, or who's followfollowers spout 'we arru peeepul', flys union jackshits, has simply the best blasting over the tannoy, etcetera), then any such 'club' should be forced to start in the Junior leagues, and once proven to have minimum 3 years of good management and all-above-board financial transactions, and can prove their supporters have been well-behaved, not rioted or slashed or battered opposing fans, been cause of increased policing at games, or sang any sectarian songs, then AND ONLY then, could they be allowed to make application to the SFL/SFA for membership and to be considered (along with other junior sides) for the next available place in the 3rd Division, if and when such a vacancy ever arises post season 2017/2018.
Scottsh Football CAN and WILL survive without the blue arsecheek. It can potentially thrive.
Let the blue arsecheek away with their litany of corruption and cheating, and Scottish Football will descend into farce, carnage and ultimate death of the entire game as a paid-for entertainment.
Its time for every single chairman to supporter of every single one of the other 41 SPL and SFL clubs to stand up, and ensure justice is done.
Last Chance Saloon time.

Just to show that HMRC take a hard line - Neath FC have been wound up in the High Court. Different scale, but I imagine they didn't owe as much as the buns.

According to the BBC website, the SPL have requested information from RAngers on EBT payments, but the administrators still haven't submitted the information. The SPL may impose sanctions if the h*ns are found guilty.

Didn't Fraser go on loan to Stenny, but it didn't work out? Didn't this also mean that he couldn't play for Thistle for the rest of the season once he came back to us? I seem to remember reading that he was putting great effort into an early pre-season to bring up to the desired level of readiness.
-
If this is true, it's good news for Thistle and a cracking bit of business by Jackie.

Good article in today's Herald bout the undead, referring to the TV programme on Wednesday. Set the record button for hours of future entertainment.

All is well with the world - that horrible wee git has been sacked, the H*ns are in deep doo-doo, and the cricket has started on the radio. Ah, happy days and the prospect of a long, hot summer of leather on willow to look forward to.
-
Airdrie should have won - they had more pressure, and Dumbarton's right back was sent off in the last minute and will miss the second leg. Interesting to see several people with Thsitle connections on screen.
-
Green and Whyte? Would the H*ns tolerate that collection of names? Surely Messrs Whyte, Blue and Red?
-
Breaking news on BBC website - Charles Green is the preferred bidder and his bid will be formally accepted on Monday.

I also had a sweatband from a member of Mud, left in their dressing room after a concert at Derby College of Art in the 1970's. Oh, and I shared a 'magic fag' on stage with Dave Brock or Nik Turner after a Hawkwind concert (I could never tell which was which. Lemmy was on bass and Stacia and a pal pranced around the stage nekkid.
