  1. Incompetent officials and an inept thistle sums up tonight for me, we probably deserved to win tonight but were hamstrung by what most be the worst referee ever to have attempted to officiate a game. Graham's 2nd is clearly onside, the line person official agreed yet he (the ref) decides that his coupon needs a pars win so he changes his own decision for absolutely no reason, just to give offside (that no one called) is astonishing.  This guy should never referee a kids football game never never mind a professional game ever again.  How can football perpetuate this by continuing to allow these charlatans to referee games?   If you were this bad at your job you'd get sacked or sued for incompetence!

It is surely a bigger issue than just PTWFC. If the football authorities are serious about promoting the women’s game, it doesn’t seem like the smartest decision to schedule the game on a Saturday afternoon when there will be men’s games from all divisions, presumably. Haven’t checked.

Shame you had a full stop there (After presumably) as I first read that as - surely there will be games on a Saturday although no doubt the authorities haven't checked if that is the case!  That seemed closer to the truth as they are so out of touch with the game. 🥺

So far so good in horrendous conditions. 1-0 up Hibs down to 10 players. Thistle denied a stonewall penalty, a decision that even Wullie Collum would be embarrassed about.

The ref at the game today is probably the worst ref I've seen since I was asked to be in the middle at my son's primary school kick about!  Booking everyone that moves and missing clear fouls too.

  4. Really sad news.  A few years ago I had the pleasure of sending Susan a match worn top and she shared some of the amazing pictures of her shirts and other memorabilia she had, it was a pleasure to exchange emails and messages with her.  Sincere condolences to all who knew her.

  5. Is their anyway of getting a signed one posted?  Would be a great gift for my son although I'm in Aberdeenshire so can't get to the signing!

I'd also he more than happy to pay anyone that is going the postage and calendar cost if that's an option too (appreciate they're both long shots!).

I think there's recent precedence regarding arranging fixtures to suit a club that can't temporarily use its home ground for some reason or other. I doubt tho' (as in this case) there's precedence where the club can use its own ground because their adopted ground is unavailable. I know there's a rule(ha!) that says a club must use the one home ground for the full season. Looks to me that in fairness when Big Hampden isn't available QP should've been made to play at a neutral venue.

This whole Haughey game plan re Lesser Hampden stinks. The ground, capacity wise, isn't suitable for our division never mind the top tier. Should be some law re ground suitability that states any club must be able to allow a minimum of visiting away fans. Setting that minimum say at 1500 sounds reasonable.

One thing, QXBoy I disagree with is your last sentence. Where the dealings of Doncaster/SPFL are concerned, I don't think you can any longer be "cynical". In terms of the way that lot run our game I doubt you can be realistic and cynical at the same time. :)

Was that the rule that ended up pushing Fort William out of the highland league? Forced to make ground repairs then denied the opportunity to play at home even when the repairs were made?

The whole of Scottish football stinks really, an old school boys club of the highest order and if your face fits or you're part of the glorious O.F. then you'll be fine.  Feeling slightly cynical this evening!
