    Are we now Level -0.5?

To me Level 0 in my mind means normality.  It's a confusing numbering system.

Only the government could mess up counting back from 5, especially using a system they designed themselves!!

read an article by Vigurs in which he slaughters the club, McGregor and Ferguson for the manner in which they handled the release of the players. Gardyne was apparently told he was being released via a Zoom meeting!

Have they got Caldwell in as their PR advisor?

Enjoyed that from start to finish. I'd have loved to be up at the Basin with all those Jags fans last night. What a din they were making!

Gary Holt was clearly not happy with his players' performance, but even so it was noticeable that he gave not one word of congratulations to Thistle. I was kind of hoping that Falkirk might still get promoted, but now I'm not so sure...

That struck me too, fair enough he's not happy with his team but thistle deserves the win, deserved the margin of win and deserved the league title 100% on merit.  At the very least he should have said congratulations and well done to the club, players and management.

  4. This is terrible, slow to close down, almost no options when we have the ball and Murray has to be one of the worst players I've ever seen in a thistle jersey.  His touch either knocks it out of the park or he mis controls and someone nicks in and easily dispossesses him.

East Fife backed us up both votes last year. They protested against our demotion and also voted for reconstruction- so they were definitely good guys

Wasn't going to bother but I'm in, purchasing and hoping for a nice wee  win to get things back on track!!

Leaving Firhill at the city end, taking a short-cut through the close of a tenement building on Garscube Road to get to Maryhill Road, but of course stopping for a pee in the back yard between the two buildings. Quite a bit of steam in that particular area after matches in those days. Then maybe a look at the budgies and fish in Pat's Pet Shop, checking the scores as they came on the tv through a shop window, then down to Gt Western Road for the No. 20 bus back to the Drum.

I also sometimes used to get the Kelvin bus (the 109 or 115?) that went along Maryhill road to the Drum but left me with a wee walk from my home stop afterwards.

Missing from football now is going into the wee programme shop near the main entrance, getting a lift up the only part of the wall that you could get a puddy up and climb over at the city end and the regular slight crush getting down the stairs to get out (at the city end again).

Also randomly meeting someone you knew on the terraces (I met my physics teacher - no idea he was a Jag till then) and standing in the same spot so you and mates could always meet up in the shed.

In other words, we are celebrating being the perennially  least successful full-time professional team in Scotland!

ETA: In fact, we can't even win that award.... we lose (predictably) againsty Hamilton Accies!

Surely that's a positive?  We can't even claim to be the least FT  professional club, I also think Dundee might sort of envy our history too?

Same could be said of many clubs. Falkirk, Airdrie etc. Yet still they survive. So will we.

Yeah, we are not a (really badly) mismanaged club in the way that so many others are, our issues are that we just always seem to be the club that fcuks everything up?  We should be like Killie or St Johnstone, but we end up being the bouncy ball of Scottish football, but we are those super ball ones that can just about go anywhere!!!  Why can't we be steady (ish) and build on things, we are an amazing club and no matter, what it's always good to be Jags fans?
