  1. Maybe if the people from the terracing came over to where all the other fans were then we would join in. They almost separated themselves as the "singing section" before the game even started. Nobody in the main stand is going to get up a sing alone. I feel even at Firhill the shed singers have alienated themselves from much of the support.
  2. Chesterfield find their field of dreams A good read on the positive effects a new stadium can bring to a club. Remarkably similar story to ourselves - even down to the blog title. Although I'm not sure we would ever have the luck of finding "private funding" of £14 million through "friendly loans"! P.S. bring back Roberts
  3. Spot on. He has the potential, but tends to hold back at getting forward. A defenders first job is to defend. Anything going forward from a full back is extra. Paddy's a quality of player that will be in a team with a comfortable mid-table finish, as we should expect from ourselves.
  4. A joint venture with Glasgow Warriors, to me, looks like an obvious thing to do. However, I'm one who wants to stay at Firhill. So could someone else please work out how that could work. Thanks.
  5. Dont agree, but still made me chuckle on a boring wednesday night, cheers.
  6. At the end of the day its where you finish in the league that matters, couldnt care if we got less points and ended up in the same or better place. Now if we had last seasons points of 55 we would still be 6th in the league this year, does it really make that big a difference apart from it being nice and seeing the team get another couple of wins.
  7. On the Corcoran vs Erskine debate I think there is night and day between the two. Corcoran is without doubt better. Seriously, what has Erskine done in his time here? Faire enough he has came from the juniors and might need time to develop but he has had a good run out. However, Corcoran has pace and skill. One of our only players that other teams will hate to place against. While on note, I dont think any team that Doolan has a shout in playing for will be promotion contenders, he's just not quite up to it. I'm feeling confident about next season, if McCall can chuck some of the verge team and bring in a few new faces, then I can see us doing well.
