  1. McCall said at one of the MTM (can't remember if it was the Goat or the CF one) that he would be trying to get Maxwell as a coach and to use as "emergancy cover" - which I take to mean that he'll mainly be a coach and only play if everyone else has lost their legs. Meaning, perhaps that he'll be registered as a player but maybe not get a full players wage?

  2. Obviously there's been a problem with distribution. My records say that the survey was sent out in a batch on the 12th April. According to the information I've got, 79 people responded of 184 email addresses it was sent to. I don't know if it was sent to everyone on the Jags Trust mailing list or to all members with recorded e-mail addresses (you'd have to ask Allan about that) but as I said to Jagnificent in my PM, it might be that your spambox is routing all Trust member mailings away, and it might be worth double-checking.

When was it sent? My junk box only goes back to the 15th.

  3. Jags Trust POTY?

We used our In Touch with Members Facility to set up a vote. You should have got an e-mail to that effect from the Trust with a link to choose your preference. As far as I know, voting's now closed, and it was a 2 horse race.

    Really? I didn't get any emails. :(

  4. What is this jagscast and can i get it without using the garbage that is itunes ?

Basically it's a podcast about all things Thistle! The two that are up were done by Veejag, Chapwithwings and myself, around Nov/Dec if I remember correctly. There was another link but it doesn't seem to be working anymore so I'm afraid iTunes is the only way to get it just now.

  5. That may not be the case. If you reduce the price by say half, then get in double the attendance the figures break even.

Or say reduce them by a couple of pounds, the attendance increases and you actually make more money.

Mind you I was never under the impression that this game was to make up for the lost money from poor attendances

Think that's the cynical(ish) view of the day. As far as I'm aware there will be some sort of 'celebrations' for the 100 years but no idea what.

  6. With the club putting alot into the last game of the season, how many jags fans are actually going to turn up?

I'm currently trying to convince a few people to make a return to Firhill for this day but not having much joy! Anyone managed to get someone to go that doesnt normally turn up?

Bringing one, not really tried to convince any others yet. Guess a lot depends on the weather tbh as most of my pals have exams coming up.
