So was I. Do you really believe we sack managers because they lose two games?! Would we have sacked doolan if he had lost the last two games , of course not. Don’t be daft.
It was as much the nature of the 2 defeats - utterly clueless, gutless performances. That was when the shit hit the fan - the club had gambled on promotion - bet the farm - and it clearly wasn't going to happen.
Dools 2 games were against even weaker opposition. QP was more comfortable than the score suggests, and Arbroath were running on fumes. But the spirit on the park was night and day compared to McCall's team. I loved McCall BTW and was sad to see him go. But it had to happen.

It’s a simple fact. We sacked McCall and didn’t get promoted. Which was presumably the point of sacking him.
No. We sacked McCall because we lost successive home games to the 2 worst sides in the league. I was at both games - I was raging.
Dools just emerged from the equivalent 2 games with maximum points. Gie us peace.

these 2 games are, for Doolan, the equivalent of the two games that got McCall the sack.
Take a bow Dools.

Peter Bonetti. A lot of folk thought he got the nickname due to his athleticism but it was really because he could jump up on to a mantlepiece and lick his bollocks.
At the same time?

As folk have been saying - these 2 games are, for Doolan, the equivalent of the two games that got McCall the sack. IMHO this is a turning point...

It's on BBC Scotland.

Dools tells us a full squad available. A win would be nice!

Great smuggling from Alston - worth an assist I'd have thought.

ICT had one shot on target.

One positive is that a home game against ICT 2 days before Christmas would have meant we would be lucky if we got a crowd of 2100. Today there was 3300-that’s got to be good for the club income
Kinda missing your point there TL.

As long as I can remember we’ve always sat back on leads late on. I’m not sure if we do it more than any other teams at our level
We did it last week v Airdrie, and got away with it. But only because Todorov missed a sitter.

And they do it again. 95th-minute winner. 11 out of 11 1-goal wins.

Rovers have won 10 in the league so far. All by a single goal. Now that is something.

Great game mind.

God I hate that slimy surface. You can't see the lines. We are way off the pace here.
