That sounds good but perhaps re the transitional nature of our current stewardship we're not best equipped for such a venture. Perhaps you disagree and can see away around that?

The whole set up at firhill needs looked into no doubt the tjf are looking into  everything.

we need to think outside the box what about the hotels around Glasgow putting thistle pamphlet inviting visitors to firhill. get in touch with tourists companies  same idea club shop badly needs a overhaul.

  2. Not sure what allocations of tickets we get for a cup tie                          wether it's 1800 for the corner  or as last time in cup 3000             would definitely love to see us with a big support  to let them know we are alive and kicking .

  3. They will need to look at all the areas of raising funds                                                       club shop for a starter   the guy selling scarfs and banner  making a fortune at the entrance to macparland way

  4. Thanks for all the nice comments regarding my grandson  he's fine and will be at firhill on Sat      regarding the game itself  i now believe we are fighting for 4th place.    As much as I would like promotion  I feel we have plenty to do off the park and  with a new board   finding their feet I'm looking forward to see what they believe is the way forward

Can't argue with the result. Queens Park started brightly and their forwards were carrying the ball into the final third and indeed the Thistle box with ease and grabbed  the opener.

Was mostly Thistle and looked decent in patches but Ferrie only had one good save and Hodson rattled the woodwork early in the second half.

We huffed and puffed but it was QP who blew out the lights of the contest with a nice goal on the break..

Big win for the home(from hone) team and we are looking at the playoffs rather than the title but perhaps more twists and turns to come.

Usual shambles at the turnstiles and it took about half an hour to get a pie apparently.

On a slightly more serious note I headed down the stairs at the back of the shed and went on my c**t on black ice. Luckily just burst my arm a wee bit and nothing broken but you'd think they'd have at least scattered some grit on them? Hopefully everyone else got out without mishap.

My grandson also fell on black ice  as well

    Same place

He's Just back from hospital  and has damage tissue

    Off work for a week
