  1. Honestly, i think it's pretty sad and pathetic, still dining out on a cup we won 40 years ago! Suppose it's a good way for the club to make money though

what reaction for a guy just speaking his mind .

their is nothing wrong with raising funds for the club its just that we have won nothing major for 40 years and yes we are struggling for something to celebrate .

don't think you would get many going to one of lambies league wins but maybe

a peterhead night with some of the players turning up would appeal more to the younger generation .

  2. Hopefully the spl will endorse 5g pitches soon . If it's deemed good enough for the champions league.

With the rugby away then firhill could become a real hub for the community.

Boys and youth teams are screaming out for facilities and games could be Played before kick off on matchdays

    Without damaging the pitch.

    spot on mate

the way forward speculate to accumulate

get the cash in through the saving of hiring pitches for youth teams and first team training

when not in use hire out the pitch ,also have two 5 aside pitches at the grassy end and hire these out as well .

can be used 7 days a week and with the catchment area of maryhill we could even have community teams and school teams cup finals as well

  3. I've always said Scotstoun would be shit to watch anything at and when I was at the sports centre this morn I had a look around. If they do move to Scotstoun, I'd advise them to get a break clause in any contract after year one, because the fans are going to hate it. The stand is completely open to the elements with no wind shields at either end. It's so steep as well that I can't imagine a lot of it would be protected given rain and a bit of wind. It is all shiny and new, but I couldn't imagine sitting there on a wet, windy, baltic Friday night and not coming to the conclusion that anything else would be better. I don't particularly like rugby though so what do I know.

I'm almost inclined to think we should try and sell the propco development site to the Warriors and jointly redevelop Firhill. We each own half the stadium and share the pitch. No?

    no

  4.

Time to take a stand ladies and gents, what can be done before this meeting tho?

easy put the pressure back on the board ,

    boycott with a difference .

still support the team keep going to games but,

don't buy programmes, raffle tickets, give the pie stalls a miss ,

don't buy any merchandise from graves.

stop direct debits to centenary fund

see how the board react to that.
