  1. BTW, if we're going to go down the road of labelling me a hypocrite, here's the handiwork of the chap held up in Tom Stronach's avatar. You know, the poster who's accusing me of being "horrible".
  2. Norman, there's a real difference between people being boisterous and people being thrown out of games a number of times having pushed things too far. In that instance, I thought the complainant had exacerbated the situation and was making themself out to be the completely innocent party. In this instance, we have a couple of guys who've made a name for themselves due to being chucked out of games - including a guy who even Gus would admit attracts trouble - being held up as some kind of wronged champions of the Thistle support. There's the difference.
  3. I bet that tickled you pink, Harry Roberts fan. And you have the cheek to brand me horrible with that scumbag in your avatar?
  4. Take a pill, rage boy. Ironic that you brand me a knob and an arse as that's exaclty they way those that get kicked out generally behave at games. Brand them that, and it's bum kicking time?
  5. Erm, all of it, which is why I didn't make any reference to it.
  6. Not in my experience. It must be how you behave and the way you conduct yourself around others, eh?
  7. The guy's we're talking about aren't young, BJ. And it's perfectly achievable to have a good drink prior to a match and join in with the singing without entering the 'slobbering fool' zone.
  8. Everyone asking questions here has cause to worry should the bing ever be redeveloped, then. I'm thinking concrete cakets for McKennan, jaf and DU.
  9. Assassination? We're talking character suicide here, given Gus's track record. Anyhoo, it's no suprise to see you jumping to his defence given your spasmodic monkey routine every time we/you go to Livingston and your clear hatred for football in Perth.
  10. Another 40-something arse piece for whom getting tanked up on a Saturday afternoon is something to celebrate. I'm glad to see you think I'm of a different breed to you, Andy, because that's exactly how it is.
  11. I'm thinking "grow up, son". Give it a good few years and you'll be another late 30-something resplendent in shit-stained Texstyle World top, reeking of booze and generally making an arse of it. But, hey, as long as you're creating a 'cracking atmoshphere'.
  12. I might've know the prince of the 'shed boys' would've been one of the first to reply with a smart arse comment. Got to feel sorry for you if these are the guys you attempt to emulate at games.
  13. Most, if not all, people who travel with Thistle probably do. Question for you, Gus. Just how many times have you been punted from a game, or lifted afterwards. The most pathetic instance I can remember was seeing you collared after punching (!) a car outside Fir Park. Most of us manage to go to games, do a bit of singing and last 90 minutes. Some of us, including myself - not claiming to be an innocent - might come close to the line, but know how to draw it in. You, it would appear, don't. Now, I'd say you must be in your early-mid forties. That has to be two-bob rocket territory.
  14. Re. the guys that were chucked out; fair doos, let's get frothy if they were punted for simply trying to create an atmosphere. But let's be honest, we all know who they are and they're both two-bob rockets. Let's not make martyrs out of them.
  15. The match preview? Circumstances can change in the time it's written. I'm sure it'll be explained in time, but there's nothing to suggest Kris has discipline issues and to suggest that as a reason is unfair.
  16. Injury or illness, there's no way he wouldn't make the squad, otherwise.
  17. Scott Fox Paul Paton Paddy Boyle Bryan Hodge Willie Kinniburgh Alan Archibald Paul Cairney David Rowson Martin Grehan Iain Flannigan Chris Erskine Subs Bryn Halliwell Jamie Campbell John Robertson Shaun Fraser Simon Donnelly
  18. The list was compiled before he left. It's been lifted from the administrator's report that was distributed to interested parties and contains details of creditors in addition to wages that would have been expected to be taken on by a new owner.
  19. Harkins hasn't been "shafted" for £88,000. That's the amount in wages he can expect to pick up - minus bonuses - between the list being drawn up and his contract ending.
  20. I was under the impression the players had a vote, too. There was talk on the Dundee forum about which way McMenamin and Paton would swing.
  21. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think player wages are classed as football debt. I believe that's money owed to other football clubs.
