Ah, yes. Should be concentrating on my work. £60 per year.

I don't really grudge a fiver a month. I was paying 7 quid a day for fags, before I gave up.

I like the content, pre and post match build up. Yes the in game coverage could be better, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

What pisses me off is when some fans seem to think that because we get beat, they should have some sort of devine right to Archie's post match video interview and it should be free to view, instead of reading it on the Website  Why should my package be devalued if we get beat!

The club are selling the match videos to their fans. They need to provide a better product or Jagzone will wither away. The difference between our clubs effort and that of QotS is startling.

Most Jags fans would have remained unaware that the Queens keeper got a hand to Dools second half shot if it hadn't been clearly visible in the free to air QotS video.

I question the value of Jagzone. I'm rather bored with the anodyne interviews. The match videos are poor. The only thing that I still use is the audio commentary of away matches. I think the quality of this is very good. But is it good value at £600 per year?

Who the fck is paying £600 a year?

So you'd want a player to leave solely on the basis of one tackle? To be fair I didn't see it. Was it that bad?

In my opinion it was a disgusting challenge. There had been nothing to result in or merir retaliation. In fact Brown had had a pretty comfortable game. He hadnt put in any bad tackles on any Jag, never mind on Storer.

It was a nasty challenge that could have ended another players career. Regardless of any opinion of Brown. I don't want to see a Thistle player to that.

Go in hard, go in tough, that's fine. But what Storer did was snide. Studs showing, on the top of the foot/ankle area. Nowhere near the ball. I don't like that.

  4. It's very easy to credit Banzo, and rightly so, for his involvement in Doolan's goal, but Erskine's movement, dragging players left & right during the build up is superb. He takes Jacobs out wide to left back forcing their left back to move inside, then just as McGinty charges on, he pulls Jacobs back in, leaving a huge gap for Spittal to attack. Just perfect.

Ha ha, bit of a blanket statement that they are most likely to be shite, and I’m the one who is havering. Have a nice day, I’m done with you.

Good point. There's most likely loads of out of work, cracking players, kicking about doing the gardening or something, that we can pick up in a months time.

Sort of begs the question. Why is not one team signing them today?

I think max I more month then cut him loose and get someone who can play.

So you do provide an answer. Get someone who is eligible to play.

The fact that you are unwilling to even acknowledge that those "who can play" (without a club) in October, are most likely absolute shite, demonstrates that, at best, You are havering.

Don’t need to back up my post, I was not suggesting that I had the answer to the replacement as I am not privet to all that would be available at the given time and indeed if they would be within our wage structure. My point was simple, how long do we tie up a “Possible wage”on someone we are waiting clearance for.

Well, you did suggest you had the answer. 4 weeks then bring in someone who no one else wants, as a replacement.

If you are talking about dodging a question, you still haven’t answered my original post except to say that you are in no rush, which is pretty vague.

You missed the second part of that post...

Added to the fact that we have no idea of how discussions are progressing, I wouldn't put a deadline on it, with absolutely no information to go on.

So. Now that we have established my answer to your original question...

Can you maybe back up your original post and tell us more about what sort of quality of player will be available 5 weeks after the window closed. You know, the ones you think we should consider taking a punt on. Even though you've stated because of our results last season in a different division, we shouldn't be taking punts on players this season.

Ok, so if in say 6 months we are still in the same situation with the registration you would be happy with the wage we would be paying him being unused ?

Tell me more about what the current situation is. What sort of feedback have we had. What response have we had from the paperwork we submitted? When are we expecting a response to our "case"?

Then tell me how much we are paying him.

Then I can give an educated answer.

Whilst you're doing that. You can answer my question you keep dodging about what sort of player will be without a club in October, and maybe tell us how their addition will benefit the squad.

  10. So... tell me more about the standard of player who will be available in October, to compete with who we have at the Club?

And why you think we should take a punt on them, when no other Club will. Even though you don't think we should be taking punts on players

Yes, and I asked your opinion on how long we should wait for clearance.

I'm in no rush. We've taken a punt on Quitongo. Storey has offered us something different when played through the middle and Doolan was a linesman away from opening his account for the season.

Added to the fact that we have no idea of how discussions are progressing, I wouldn't put a deadline on it, with absolutely no information to go on.

As I have said before I don’t have a list to give you your answer, “my post was a question “, if you don’t want to answer then end off.

I didnt ask for a list. I asked you to give your opinion on the sort of quality of player you think we will be able to choose from, given that we didn't deem them good enough in July, August or September. What sort of standard will be available to us, instead of taking a punt on Coulibaly, which you are against us doing.

  13. 1 minute ago, Caramaca said:

Our record since we made top six tells me that we are in no position to take punts

What record? Our record of victories/draws/defeats over one season, in a division we no longer play in, has allowed you to decide we shouldn't take a punt on a player or two?

  14. 11 minutes ago, Caramaca said:

Don’t actually have a list do you ?, my original question was about how long we wait not what’s available now .

I know. And your opinion is that we should wait another 4 weeks then sign some jobber free agent who's struggled to find a club.

  15. Derek McWilliams,

    Chic Charnley,

Chic Charnley & Kevin James & Tony Parks in goal,

    Alec Taylor,

    Wayne Foster & Rod McDonald,

    Tom Smith & Rod McDonald,

    Jackie Husband.

I think the Falkirk Picture is from the first game at Brockville during 94/95. a 2.1 defeat. Roddy Grant had put us 1 up at half time before Fulton and Cadette scored in the second half.
