It was a cracking day on Sunday every player gave 110% they certainly wanted the victory and didn't let there heads go down even when down two goals . Its a pity more fans don't turn up to see the girls in action , living in Uist we dont get to as many games as we would like.. Grandsons were mascots and also did ball boy duties where they did their best to get quick balls to players whilst we were two goals down . Reece even got involved at the disputed 3rd goal telling the referee it never crossed the line whilst he was in conference with the linesman . A cracking day out made even better by spending halftime chatting with Kris Doolan who was at game supporting the girls along with his daughter . Fingers crossed they can get a result against Dundee United next week

I just wanted to thank everyone especially the JL stand supporters yesterday for helping to make my grandsons day . Leo and Reece travel down regularly to support Thistle from the Isle of Skye . Yesterday they got to take penalties at half time against Kingsley , the cheering from the stand was great and they will always remember this special day . The penalty shoot out was arranged by the staff at the club as part of Leo's award for winning the junior jags Christmas card competition . The club office staff and all the staff at hospitality always ensure the boys have a wonderful day to remember. and I would thoroughly recommend this as a treat for Thistle fans of all ages . A late winning goal was the icing on the cake for the boys , along with meeting man of match Kyle Turner after the game . Their day was complete with a Thistle Taxi ride back to our accommodation

Hi did everyone else get searched at Caley game going into ground ? Its first time we have been searched en masse at a game ? When I asked steward why everyone ie my 2 grandsons aged 6 and 7 along with myself and wife were getting full body searches I was told it was because fans had been bringing in pyrotechnics. My wife expects her handbag to be searched at every ground as this is norm but body searches of 6 and 7 year old was a bit over the top . Especially when game started and ICT fans were letting off flares . I just wondered if it was just early fans or all fans . I usually find stewards at inverness very good and this was so out of character for them ?

Just wanted to give a shout out to all the coaches and helpers at the kids training camp at Springburn Park. Took my grandsons down from Portree in Skye for week . They thoroughly enjoyed experience and met lots of other thistle daft youngsters . Home now and a weeks kit out on the washing line .

Kenny MacDonald taken to first game by my dad also a diehard in 1965. Lived in Linwood in the early days now in North Uist but managed at least one game a month till lock down . Was lucky enough to be at Hampden for League Cup victory . Unlucky enough LOL to be at just about every final game of the season for past 40 years . Some good ones and some not so good . My sons both follow thistle and grandsons 5&6 also . They have travelled from Western Isles to Firhill with me and both have thistle strips they wear regularly out playing at home . Born in Elderslie Street just off St Vincent street in Glasgow .

Just an observation , seeing as we are in a pandemic and money is tight . Why are we still playing at 3pm on a Saturday ? when at this time of year floodlights are required . Surely it makes sense for games to be played earlier and save the expense of putting on floodlights and lights at stadiums . Common sense or is it just me ??

Hey don't forget North Uist we travel down to games twice a month , well at least we do when there are any games to go to . I know there are quite a few supporters on Skye , haven't met any others in Uist so far .

I remember a game where he set up the whole team on one side of the pitch at kick off , completely confused the opposition and most of the home support LOL

I had same issue then when I got in after attempts all over 8 characters , wouldnt let me change adress or collection . Have contacted club to ask them not to send to home adress but received no replies fear the worst and it will be sent to home adress whilst I,m on mainland all week before the game

The Heb is the dogs bollocks the Clansman is an ok substitute when the Heb is away in dry dock

This is my home game LOL I commute from Uist every other week to watch Thistle. The top road over through Achnasheen is quietest and quickest route to Dingwall from Uist . I was also at 4 -0 game a long dismal drive home after that one . Hoping for a result this time as a few County following friends need the smile wiped off their faces LOL

Not blaming club I know that it would be imposed on them its the blazer brigade at HQ who never consider the fans who who suffer every time with rescheduling and early kick offs for long distance travelers etc

They never consider the fans who have to travel to these games and book travel and accommodation well in advance . I wont be able to make games now so club misses out on 3 people paying tickets , half time draw etc etc and I still have all the costs to pay . Disappointing for Nomads who try there best to support the club even at great expense , just need to hope we win and we get a chance to plan for the next round .

Yes it definitely was Christie but just shows how poor the BBCs top journalist is when he cant even identify who caused the error . Niall even had a head bandage on so to confuse them beggars belief LOL

Leaving stadium on Sunday for the long drive North I listened to a vocal group bemoani g the £40 ticket money for, playoffs as a waste of money.They said would have been better if we had gone down automatically. Didnt bother to enlighten them to my 2 nights accommodation 12 hours driving and 4 hours ferry crossings , yes it was disappointing but being a lifelong jags supporter was never easy. Positives for me are 2 games in highlands which cuts travelling times but had hoped not to be going to Dingwall this season coming. Will be at pre season friendlies and Betfred cup games as per usual and as many games in league as possible.Onward and upward.

2 hour ferry and 6 hour car journey from North Uist , hoping to end season on a high . Managed down at least once a month and only dissapointment was my "home" game at Dingwall.
Hoping that we play the passing game that the team is very capable of playing and press them up the park and dont sit deep.

First 30 minutes we were better team then it all fell apart. Interestingly the 2 County management team were out very animated . They even berated one of their players for rolling about in centre spot feigning injury telling him to get back up with play. Archie was usual folded arms and quiet , dont think Scot came out of dugout. At one point Archie went back and sat in dugout . They seemed resigned to far too early on . A small group of fanss turned on the players and were chanting were going down toward the end and Archie out. Never good to see this but can understand there frustration. Its as toothles a display as I have seen in 50 years watching thistle , very little fight or determination. As a long standing fan I live in optimism they can do a miracle but not confident .

Cold wet day so popped into Costas for a hot chocolate with boys after game Bumped in to Danny Devine who spent time chatting with boys . Been out for past 2 weeks with concussion very complimentary about thistle
