  1. I might be drunk but i do wish Weir had spent his money on the first team and allowed us to have some success and some new memories. The youth system is worthless and has not been much use other than happy clappy pointage. If i was Weir firhill would have been redeveloped and there would have been some acceptable bankrolling of the first team. That is how you leave a legacy.

How do you achieve that. It is only fair that the positions on the board/governance bodies are open to all fans. If Ms Low wants to apply through the normal channels and has the backing of enough supporters then she must be allowed to take over in whatever capacity she is voted to. We can't go blacklisting some supporters from official positions just because some people don't like them.

I am quietly confident she will be long gone and will be voted right out the door asap in a fans vote.

Edited to add, knowing how toxic she is among a large part of the fanbase and her ego she will no doubt put herself forward to piss as many off as possible.

Any news on what is happening with Spittal?   Was he only signed until January? I wonder if Yogi will want him back or if he’ll extend his deal with us.

I am guessing him, kouder aisa, breen will be sent packing to allow some fresh faces to come in.

What else would you like to know?

Very happy to endeavour to answer any specific questions you have.

Well for a start i wanna make sure Jacqui Low is nowhere near the club as was originally promised, Other things would be like, if essential funding is required be it stadium repairs/upgrades or a striker to bail us out of the poo who will provide these funds? The other 2 trusts will they disband and fall under the Thistle Foundation?

Gonna take a while before i get onboard because i want to make sure it doesn't transcend into the usual fan run farces of the past.

  5. Things gone from football.....the atmosphere. Since the addition of seated stadia it has never been the same. I ******* despise that green brigade mob but you cannot deny having them in a standing area does not make a difference atmosphere wise. A standing area with even a few hundred in it makes a massive difference if acoustically correct.

Modern apprenticeship at roughly £120 per week after tax

So i have found out from NorgeThistle but this is football and we know how daft clubs can be with money. We are more cheapskate but i would expect a few k a year being added on top of that because footy is not a normal job.

Apprenticeship is paid at £3.70 an hour or £4.15 if non -technical it can be raised based on employee

I misread that lol so almost 9k a year if basic which i doubt he will be going as i said on how silly football clubs are. Still 9k that can be given to someone else and we don't know what is left on the Jobbys budget that he did not spend in the summer so could be enough.

Not if he’s on a modern apprenticeship

£6.45 an hour is minimum wage for his age £13416 a year. I am basing this on an average persons weekly work of 40hrs. With it being football i expect he will be on a wee bit more cause we know how financially prudent football clubs are!

I wouldn’t have thought Dean would be on a high wage, if they were looking to free someone up on a higher wage to provide funds then I would have thought tam o ware would have been a better target

The boy is 18 and playing football as a career, i would expect him still to be on a living wage circa 16-20k per year

I noticed something on Twitter about us recalling Dean Watson from East Stirlingshire, does that mean that we have no fit strikers for Saturday?

It might just mean he has been recalled to be released, remember McCall said some players may need to leave in January window to get some in.

Was that when they were propping up the league below us having not won a single match all season and we were having our could not progress by the opening round years?

Re streaming income, lets charge 1p for match if it is shared and make the programmes or ht draw tickets a tenner instead. :D

yup that is the one, we were expected to gub them and well.....the rest is history

    A dreich day from memory.

1-0 to them and pretty sure we played very badly.

I was stood behind the goals at the city end with my Granda and remember their small travelling support were allowed close to the pitch just down from the main stand. Was never sure why.

Yup can still see all 20 of them celebrating in my minds eye, what a horrific match!

It's not a question of what's acceptable in the grand scheme of things. If it was, we'd be back at whether it was acceptable that we were relegated in the first place. No point going back there.

Your views above are based on the raw data, so there's no argument with the data.

My views and comments are based upon what I've witnessed personally. I realise these views are subjective and are open to a difference of opinion.

The only time I'll care about statistics is when it means we can't win the league or play-off etc. As it stands, we can do either.

We've attempted to build a team to escape the division we are in. In the games I've seen, all home streams and away highlights, that's exactly what we have. There's no point busting the bank, as some others' do, and having a team fit for the top league.

Despite our struggles at the top of the field, we're only six points from first and at the very least, a stick on for the play-offs.

We've missed penalties, easy chances and hit the bar and post a few times. The teams we've played have hardly had a shot against us, never mind scored many goals.

We're not a million miles away from winning this league and I still think we might. Someone might then choose to re-write the above stats but it won't be me. I'll continue to believe what I see, regardless of the numbers.

Ian make sure you sign a decent striker in January and an attacking midfielder and we will forgive you and go with what you say lol

I've never been a fan of Spittal. He has the ability to run games but rarely does. However I would like to see him back in the team at this moment as I find it hard to belive that his delivery and pace would not be an upgrade on Cardle. However I would happily let Spittal leave if we can find a faster winger that means Cardle becomes an option from the bench.

I think the original idea with extending Cardle was so that he would only have to play 60/70 minutes for the first half of the seaons and that Lyons or Murray would takeover. Lyons looks like a player but he's obviously not capable of doing what McCall wants at this point. Murray has moments but nowhere near enough to be an automatic starter however injuries have left us little option.

Reminds me very much of Lawless at times
