  1. Football is odd at times. McLaughlin was the better of the two players (him and Nisbet) but Nisbet who was a lazy thought he had made it as a player but  to his credit dropped down the leagues and stepped up his game where McLaughlin went to Stirling and never set the heather alight and is now in the lowland league and maybe on that hat trick and his chunk i will be generous could be a league 2 player. Nisbet to his credit became the player Thistle thought he could be, but it took us telling him to bolt for him to be who he is today. Don't look back in anger at us letting him go because it has made him who he is today.

With the new season almost upon us has anyone heard plans for match programmes for League 1 or if not any thoughts on it?  Would be nice to still get a physical copy via mail order.  Digital versions may work but perhaps would not feel the same.  Hopefully not bypassed as still an ok revenue stream.

Anyways show your age time.  30p for programme at my first game.

Don't be daft that would require forward thinking and ways to make money business acumen! Wee jackie will be too busy wondering how she can boost her ego this season without people to leech off so expect her car crash PR videos to resume sometime soon.

Anybody else a bit suspicious about how pharmaceutical companies appear to be developing anti-Covid vaccines at amazing speeds, apparently in months, and have them tested and presumably approved for sale by the millions...... when normally it takes years for vaccines to get through all the pre-clinical and clinical trials and safety checks to ensure that there are no long-term  negative effects on people, or on their as-yet unborn children?

There is a lot of money at stake for these companies, possibly their biggest ever bonanza.

    Just a thought.

Not a vaccine, of course, but remember Thalidomide?: "Perfectly safe."

Keep your cuckoo conspiracy pish to the general forum where it has been patched already snowflake boy

  4. Well all i know is that is twice we have been lied to by this so called fans group. Lowe will not be back and neither will Rough and woopsie what has just happened? You can stick fan ownership up yer arse. Our main focus should be getting these charlatans out the club and folk in that have the clubs best interests at heart rather than their ego! We are just gonna end up with a Jags Trust shambles in charge with all their mates onboard.

Interesting. I've not read that anywhere. Not been mentioned by pals in Wellington or the Kiwi I work with. Can you share your info?

NZ family and friends, She will be voted back in though because she has a weak challenger in Judith Collins. A bit like how Boris got in with that weak willy Corbyn.

If you firmly believe that such accolades can be given with a straight face in this global mess then you have been a bit hasty in bestowing it to the FM.

If you're looking for a PM who has, as you say, played a blinder then look to someone like Jacinda Ardern in NZ

However in the absolute shambles that has been the UK and its lamentable response to this virus, Nicola Sturgeon has just been the most competent looking of a sad decrepit bunch  of UK politicians - no need for a special award.

Someone the NZ folk are tearing to shreds for being useless hmm...

Alston returning to where it all happen for him!

I thought Alston was a potentially great player during his first stint at Falkirk and hoped that we might sign him. The general opinion at the time I recall was  that he was out of our league.

I was surprised he signed to St Johnstone and even more so when he went to Hamilton. Thought he could have done better than these two clubs.

However, although a regular at SJ, I don't think he ever kicked on or reached the level he should have!

He will be a good signing for League 1 but there clearly hasn't been a lot of competition to sign him.

    Alston is our Bannigan

Not really ....Aberdeen will probably come out of lockdown next week , the R number is 1% still well below the WHO level of 5% and stadiums are effectively outside and maybe with 25/33% occupancy

Yes but as soon as it get's to 1% it is deemed as the virus is on the increase which will probably then lead to further local lockdowns

Yep and someone posted on the Facebook page that Ashcroft was very tempted to join Thistle and was impressed with what mccall had to offer but because Dundee had offered him 3 years in the current climate he felt he had to take that offer

Someone on fb is talking poo cause he only signed a 2 year deal not a 3 year one

At no point did the SPFL say that it wanted the judgment of any court or tribunal to be kept confidential.

What they said they wanted kept confidential (i.e. not in the general public domain) was commercially sensitive materials.

    Their position hasn't changed.

Again, it is completely normal for a court or tribunal's judgment to be public but for the evidence it considered not to be publicly available.

    Where did the state that?
