No it wouldn't..its the fact Dundee have the deciding vote that gives them the leverage

So would we if we also switched from No --> Yes. 1 Yes vote required and only ICT, Dundee or PTFC can make it happen. Guarantee to extend the League to 14 or negotiate some hefty compensation and we vote Yes.

Out the box thinking perhaps but why let Dundee hold all the cards whilst just waiting to be shafted.

There are maybe another 10-12 clubs of our size in Scotland but we are the only club of our size that can claim to be iconic.

Iconic yes - not necessarily for the correct reasons...

  3. Whit - So finish 9th in the Premiership before the split then you just start from scratch again on parity again with the rest and another 2 teams from the league below? I can't be bothered reading below that.

Edit : 'Further two to be added from same or Colt teams'.  Aye right.

Yes agree with both posts. Thanks for making my point.

Game v England was his last appearance in a Scotland Jersey and he went to the World Cup as 3rd choice goalkeeper behind Leighton and Goram!

I recall Ferguson's response to press criticism about his treatment of Rough. He said "it was time for a change".

Rough was in the advance stages of his career but IMO it should have been Goram, Rough & Leighton (if he had to be in the squad) in that order.

As I said I did not rate Leighton at all.

Even under Jock Stein he didn't play from the WC in 1982 until Wales.

Guys can we get this back on track please?  There are other threads for the ownership debate.  Even selfishly for myself it's given me a wee boost.

2 pledges to join Centenary Fund

After 8 years a season ticket holder I had to move to London for work just after the 2017-18 season had started. Took in the Hibs away defeat on the opening day of the season and the home defeat to Aberdeen. Thereafter I saw the pre-Christmas victory over Hamilton and the John Lambie Derby.

The only game I saw in the flesh during Gary Caldwell’s tenure was a 0-0 draw at Grangemouth. I returned for Doolan’s Testimonial and then took in the Dundee, Morton and Alloa games around Christmas/New Year. Made the mistake of making a point of getting to the Raith game a few weeks back.

It’s frustrating not to be able to get to Firhill frequently but it’s the travel as much as anything that makes it expensive/inconvenient. I do try to get to games in and around London but this ******* virus has stopped that and all...

Going to different games in the London area every week sounds grand - far preferable to Firhill.
