  1. There seems still to be the option of monthly payments its at the bottom of the prices i think say to contact the office phew panic there iv three to buy for
  2. Can't think of a logical reason for this . Someone must confirm or deny this. If true board should be ashamed of them self !
  3. Thanks for that. Got an extra boy today . Jh a bit stuffy for them. Good to get a bit of atmosphere for them
  4. Anyone know if the u16s are still allowed in the north stand. Or was it just for the couple of weeks ?

    Trialist

No idea , sounds like a likely explanation though , he didnt seem to know where he was going or how to get there was the strange bit

    Trialist

Not sure if my aunt and uncle over from channel isles were taken for mugs. But Friday they came across a young Danish guy trying to get on a bus asking where central sation was . He was completely lost looking and said he only had a fiver on him, Told them he was up at firhill as a trialist . Bus driver let him away with the fare my aunt and uncle gave him money. They seemed pretty convinced he was genuine. He sat down with another guy who apparenty was a trialist too and they seemed to know firhill etc. Point is pretty bad show if this guy was genuine, he was wandering about Glasgow lost with a fiver but then again aunt and uncle etc might have fell for a sob story lol
  7. I think it's a great thought. But agree perhaps money from jags trust should go to above just the fact that we can get in with other fans is a big plus. It's easy to get out of in an emergency all one level. Minimum walking. Is fine. It's more a case of stewards being trained a bit better if they are working in this area tbh
  8. Im not going to the match tomorrow i jyst cant face it , im going to wait untill im sure everyone has been briefed and i have my letter confirming im allowed in With the boys and I'm still in the middle of a huge flare up I think due to stress of Saturday . Hopefully il make the hibs game But il certainly keep everyone up to date. Thanks all
  9. Now iv calmed down and spoke to Ian. We have agreed all stewards will be briefed head steward is aware of the situation. This particular guy will be told just not to communicate with me apart from to tell turnstile operator to let me in. And iv requested a headed letter to make things easier than showing an e mail on my phone. As usual Ian was great some stewards could take a few lessons in customer care from him. Thanks to every one who posted. I really apprecia it Hopefully this will be the end of the problems iv been having. Les
  10. Iv sent an e mail to Ian. Ian is my point of contact and feel I owe it to him to try sort this out first Iv had a reply that he id looking in to it and will get back to me ASAP My arrangement with the club suits me perfectly. As iv said iv went from missing lots if games to missing hardly any . It's the attitude if one or two stewards who seem to resent this. Apart from the Aberdeen supporters not getting g refreshments I'm not sure of other problems or solutions. Think most people are happy to be in with other supporters and not cordoned off in a wee section . But I can't speak for everyone so on a separate issue a disabled fans forum / group might be a good idea
  11. My first posts were il admit very jumbled and ranty.
  12. Sorry north stand not main
  13. Can I just clarify. The stewards have no problem with me or my mobility issues in the main stand. There is no health and safety problem. Though I do appreciate how important hs is. This is about me getting my boys in to a stand I have permission to do so and have done for a year. This is about a steward calling me a liar , that I send e mails to my self pretending they are from the club A steward who thought it was ok to intimidate a mobility impaired woman then question my disability ! To leave my boys out with away fans. Then not allow my carer in . Who does most of this every game. The boys will soon be able to come in to the north stand in their own righ but that does not solve my problem with this individual Who seems to resent our family watching games together in the easiest safest stand
  14. I really take your point. About health and safety and stewards But I'm sitting with other disabled fans , I'm over 16. I do Not pose any additional health and safety issues. It's my boys getting in that seem to annoy him and be the problem. It's a brilliant gesture by the club to keep a family together at games which I can't express enough gratitude for. The point is not health and safety or where I sit. Its the fact that the club have given me permission for my boys to sit in a srand and this individual has harassed me for a year about it. We cause no extra health and safety issues . There are quite a few disabled fans who sit in the north stand. And my boys are 22, 14 and 15 who are more capable and sensible than mist adults I know
  15. Sorry will jag as someone who struggles with stairs believe me there is a big difference between 4 Stairs and 40 stairs. I know my capabilities it is a lit easier to get out the north stand with less people in it than the jhs. But as I said this is not the issue iv had lengthy correspondence with the club and this was decided between us to be the best solution , Iain is my point of contact with the club. And if its not why are other disabled fans put in the north stand? The point is iv had this wonderful solution to my problems given to me by the club. Which im grateful for i cant fault the club . point I think your missing is a steward has took it upon himself to harass me about it. Honestly where I sit is really between me and the club. Not the stewards !!
  16. I appreciate your suggestion will jag. But as iv said before. I was missing a lot of games when I did go to the jhs. Here are my main problems 1 getting there 2 these seats are not that easy to get 3 the foyer is a problem there are at times crush points 4 I can't go on busy match days because to put a finer point on it if I fall and break my pelvis (which I have done in the past it could be fatal. That foyer gets terrible on busy match days I was getting bumped in to I'm not that stable on my feet 5 in the event if a fire / emergency in foyer I would imagine fans would be guided on to the pitch. That's not safe for someone who has mobility issues getting down all those stairs 6 if it does not bother anyone in the north stand as far as im aware and the boys are well behaved 7 , why should I change stands (which solves a multitude of problems fir me ) and cause my self all sorts of problems missing games etc because a steward is so arrogant and pig headed he will not listen to what the club he is employed with is saying and takes it upon him self to stop me I really don't get any if your points. Iv told you this is the easiest and safest place for me to be, as discussed with Ian maxwell. We had lengthy correspondence about the pros and cons. And this was thought to be the best solution ! A steward has no right to make comments or think he should make the rules at the club ! Then queries my integrity and my disability The real point here is the harassment I'm getting from a steward not where I should be sitting
  17. I really have got to say I'm grateful and have no problem with the club. I'm more than happy with the arrangement. Previously I was missing a lot of games due to the physical strain getting to the jh stand also if it was going to be a busy game I just can't risk the crush in the foyer . So getting permission to sit in the north stand has been a godsend I hardly miss a game now. It's the stewards who think they are above the club / law and its them that need to be sorted out . I also try get up a row or two just for a slightly better view , in fact every week when the drugs start wearing off and iv to get back down im struggling I say to dan why did I do this . you may as well be sitting in outer space sitting in the front row the view you get lol. End of the day we all love this club I'm only asking for a little understanding and support getting to sit down and watch my team with my family The stewards seen to make it a personal matter. Iv sent an e mail late last night as I needed to collect my thoughts before sending still ended up a rant tbh lol
  18. "at the end of the day I sit with my family in the designated disabled section" Iv explained my reasons for going up a few rows. If you look how the stairs go I'm going up about five steps not climbing to the top . Other option is to go sit with away fans hanging over you. Would you like that? Think about the hearts game I could have been in major trouble then . at the end of the day this s the easiest safest option and I'm entitled to go in to the north stand only difference is I'm requesting my family get to sit with me as they act as my helpers / carers. And just for the sheer pleasure of sitting watching the team we all love together. Is that so wrong?
  19. The arrangement works perfectly for me from a physical point if view. I have very little walking , there are no crush points and the north stand empties very quick. All the other disabled fans are there and feel if an emergency occurred iv more chance getting out of the north stand along with other disabled fans . The club and Ian maxwell agree I can sit there they have listened to my points and been very understanding. Why should I cause my self physical and mental strain going to the jh stand because a steward has took offence and an obvious dislike to me . I won't be going this Saturday and I am giving serious thought to my future as a season ticket holder because of a steward ! Who seems to take great pleasure in making my match day experience as stressfull as possible. They even tell me to come through then start the debating again with my boys stuck out side with away supporters that's just not right . If you feel it's ok for a steward to do this and fir me to move stands at my physical cost and safety then i really dont know ehat to make of that . What next ? how will you feel when this individual moves on to someone more vunrable or your self ? remember these are the same lot of stewards who refused disabled aberdeen fans or there carers through to purchase refreshments . What else are they to get away with? Is there really anyone here who has sn objection to a Disabled fan Being able to sit with their family in the disabled section ? remember the boys are 14 and 15 not wee toddlers running around they and are More mature than most boys their age due to the extra resposibilities they have having a disabled parent Sorry if I sound exasperated but really I am.
  20. Well I'm sorry will jag. I know what is easier for my condition. Jh stand I'd need to go up early to get parking space also I'd need to find these seats your talking about as my reserved seats are four seats in ! Also the crush in the foyer is a danger for my confition At the end of the day I sit with my family in the designated disabled section which I have permission to do ! What really is the problem? As my post indicates iv no problem with the club or Ian I'm very grateful how helpful and accommodating they have been. This is an issue about stewards thinking they run the club . And me having to explain my self to stewards!
  21. Yes I was offered that. But i still need to grt diwn stairs and its often very crowded in the foyer , my condition if i fall could be fatal im afraid and in my opinion sitting where i do is by far the best and safest option fir me also I'm not always the one driving and quite offted get dropped off by a third party so gate at north stand is perfect This was an arrangement Ian and I agreed on. And it's fantastic suits my needs perfectly. The boys are nearly 15 they sit well behaved we sit away from the main body of fans. My problem is the steward who queries my nearly every game . He queries my right to be there he questions my disability ! I love this arrangement it makes things do much easier for me and my family. It's just a pity this steward spoils it. Il state again Ian maxwell had been brilliant its the stewards who seem to think they run the club
  22. Hi will jag. In response to jh stand. Iv a number of issues. First I was struggling up the hill and missing many games. Also once I'm in iv got to struggle down the very steep stairs in there The north stand has many advantages I get dropped off right out side the gate and only have to get up about five or six stairs , in not sitting up the back or with the main body of support. No one seems to be bothered apart from these stewards. This arrangement works great for me it's the hassle iv get doing it.
  23. I will get that e mail sent. Just getting my thoughts together , want to make sure I say what I want and not rant . Also having a really bad flare up atm and writing it is just stressing me out. But I will something has got to be done . Who know it might be someone more vunrable next time
  24. Totally agree with you. I fortunately can take enough drugs and walk with the aid if a stick and my son/carer . I make an effort to walk rather than take a chair because of the reasons you have posted , I save my morphine for match days so I can get up a few rows to avoid getting hit by ball and get a half decent view . I also love the fact we are allowed in to the north stand with the great atmosphere instead of cordoned off separated from the main support like many places. I just as you may have seen on my previous posts want to come in to the north stand without hassle from stewards
