It would appear that the supporters who now run Clyde FC, a club who have received much ridicule here over the years (some perhaps deserved), are looking for facts before they decide on how to vote. I wonder if they have not been privy to the facts that the engineers who run PTFC have been, else why would we have read that the only way to save Scottish football and Thistle is to get "bums on seats" by voting for play offs? I agree with Jordanhill Jag on one point he made, Scottish football has no real moral integrity. However, the lack of moral integrity had always been hidden by the people who profess to run the clubs and the game. Whether it is acting to alienate the fan base, restricting communications, allowing poor business practice or insidiously working to derail the efforts of well-meaning people, it could all be argued it is one and the same as voting a new company into division 1 without following due process. I did something I was not proud of when I felt forced to walk away from an elected position that carried much responsibility and expectation as well as the Club I had supported since 1970. If this board of PTFC votes yes, I will forget my shame and feel vindicated that I did the right thing.
