I don't think Maxis comments would impinge on his relationship with Archie. As Maxi said, Archie is fully aware of what is expected of him and is surely big enough to accept that and the comments Maxi has made.

Agree, I think this is poor by maxwell. Biggest success of the summer was Archie staying on in the manager's seat. Maxwell's comments add unnecessary pressure and can't think it will have done much for their working relationship.

Great result - a bit st johnstonesque in the second half but defence was magnificent. Liam Lindsay is turning into a real quality centre half but the whole team worked hard. No better time for the next game to be a Scottish cup quarter final.

Agree with much of above. We need to score when we are on top in games. Edwards should have put that chance away. St Johnstone started to time waste from the start of the second half- really really poor to watch.

Good win. Controlled the game mostly. I didn't think Dundee looked in danger of scoring - our defending was mostly composed. Barton is a lovely footballer- never looks flustered and his passing is very very good. Edwards does bannigans job this year and has so much energy but also a bit of quality. Thought Elliot was decent despite some criticism on here- particularly enjoyed that crunching tackle that he picked up a yellow for. Agree about ref- there should never have been so many bookings in that game. Onwards jags, 3 points against killie next please

Stevie, banzo and osman all looked thoroughly pleased at the full time whistle last night. No questioning their commitment. Banzo may be off at end of the season but think there is a chance the other two will stay.

First time I've seen thistle in a wee while. Stuart Bannigan absolutely runs the show for the jags. So much energy- he's become a very very good player. Notable mentions for stevie lawless and Callum Booth tonight aswell.
