Just a reminder that season tickets are not valid so tickets need to be purchased:

Not expecting a big away support as they are in the Jackie Husband Stand. Let's get a big home support in to help the players and the club's finances.

    Ticket Bought.

I wonder how many unsolved crimes there are in the Greater Glasgow area over the last 10 years because if Police Scotland are looking to get their stats up they should just nick Banzo for most of them - he seems to be responsible for most bad things that happen!

    Personally i Blame Sean Welsh.

I decided to do a count tonight without letting you in advance (I am that sort of person) and am glad I did so as by my reckoning we have gone past the 2000 mark - I make it 2003.

Hopefully the club will be able to confirm this tomorrow and we can push on towards the 3000 barrier.

That would be an obvious one but why not say it when his extension was announced. Would also mean a new manager required for the women's team.

I think, again not in the know, it will be someone not already at the club. Will find out when the players return to pre season I suppose.

Dont  See Brian being a Number 2,think he will have his own mind on how things should be done.As you say Martin,if he was going to be the Assistant it would have been announced.Kris is going to need a hand so hopefully we have it in Hand.

Looks like hopefully some incoming players soon according to Kris at bottom of article on official site:

“I can assure fans I have been working around the clock over the past two weeks on securing deals with players who want to play for Partick Thistle next season and we will be able to begin announcing some of those this week. The response from Jags fans over the past fortnight or so has been nothing short of remarkable, in particular season ticket sales, which is a huge boost and makes me even more proud to be Partick Thistle manager.”

Difficult to attract players with all the negativity regarding Finances at the club,Somehow we need to generate positivity, dont know how but how are we going to attract anyone?.

Just in and what a game! Certainly went through all the emotions. They had a couple of early chances before we went 2 up but then Mitchell only had to pick the ball out of the net 3 times - don't think they had a proper chance apart from those goals whilst we passed up several good chances. Defences definitely not on top which should make Friday night even more nervy.

Great support there tonight as well and going by the queue after the game we will have great backing on Friday night as well.

And we had the company of the crossbar challenge winner Graeme, lol.

I think the boycott was targeted and effective. Now we all know what an unhappy fanbase looks and sounds like.

It was a fan-led initiative that brought about the singing section in the, then, North Stand. Before that the atmosphere at Firhill was as you have described. Yesterday was a demonstration of what can happen when the board of directors turn their back on those fans.

    Absolutely Spot On.

Very disappointing but through no fault of TJF.

I now look forward to Jacqui Low's response to a statement by Jacqui Low on the club website.

I just can't figure out what the TBC end game is as it was clearly stated earlier this year they had no desire to hold on to the shares.

    I will Second that Martin.

Kilmarnock v Ayr, now changed from 2nd January to 9th February in the hope of getting a bigger crowd.

So the clubs agree to play through this period of restricted crowds, first thing Killie do is change a fixture which they hope gives them a bigger crowd, therefore a commercial advantage. Will they keep asking for postponments till we get crowds back?

Yes, I thought that was a bit odd. The first person to buy a season ticket has made a greater contribution.

Absolutely agree,i purchased mine on the 28th of May as i thought that it was important that the club received much needed funds. As i am a pensioner it is a big deal for me to invest in my concession ticket, not overly impressed that the club think  that being number 2000 is more important.
