Please go post in the other thread that you'd welcome Donald Findlay as a director of PTFC. That would be interesting at least!
Would certainly give him a welcome at firhill instead of some of the crowd we have in charge just now.

See they have appointed a dose of new directors including Donald Findlay and five representatives from their supporters.
Good on them for their initiatives. A real shake up for a club who were reportedly on the verge of extinction a while back. Why oh why can't Partick Thistle have a similar reawakening instead of stumbling along as we have been doing for the past ten years or so.

Personally I think if we let Maxwell go to Livingston we save a bit money. Get McNamara as Assistant Manager. Archibald who as much experience as Maxwell and is already on a contract for next season can help train the young lads who are going to be defenders also Archibald wont be playing for the first few months of the season anyway so it at least gives him something to do.
Personally I didnt agree with McCalls decision to resign Archibald but fact is it has been done and he is under contract for next season. I dont really agree with his decision to resign Maxwell either if that is what happens. Dont have a problem at all with the Donnelly/McNamara resigning somehwat ironic considering my attitude to Donnelly this time last year on the forums

At the end of the Cup Final there wrerte many flags of various countries being waved by players including Iriland, Ghana, Argentina, etc. and this was supposed to be a SCOTTISH cup final. So much for the pride of pklaying in OUR big day

Bye bye Thistle. Final nail in coffin with these consecutive price increases. Back to the Juniors for me for cheaper, enjoyable days out with much more excitement and closer involvement with local Club.

However, Airdrie really deserve it as they've been saved by teams going bust / being demoted 2 seasons in a row despite losing in the playoffs both times. Ideally, Ayr to be safe, Airdrie to blow it in the playoffs again and Morton to finish bottom.
Totally agree. In addition I have no intention of ever going back to that tip that is Crappielow owing to the non facilities offerred to away supporters - crammed little stand with minimal space for fans, no leg room for anyone over 4 feet tall, long trek for pie stall and marathon journey to toilets.
SO called Airdrie United given the privilege of being falsely named as Airdrie by all and sundry.
Ayr to stay put mainly because of being allowed to go walkies and sample spectating from various positions.
