I agree that Graham and Rudden were poor, bar the goal. So not a surprise they were subbed. Whether their withdrawal was covid related or performance who knows. Do think we have to give the team some latitude. It was an awful challenge by Mayo but he has been excellent for us. But yeah, we should still have won it.

You're right, in general Mayo has been very good. But yesterday's tackle was suicidal. The moment he made it there was only one possible outcome. He needs that recklessness coached out of him.

  2. Think I must be getting grumpy in my old age but very disappointed at that performance. Scored two decent goals but that apart we were awful. It's been a long time since I've seen us fail to make so many basic passes and look so disjointed. I know Graham and Rudden combined well for the 2nd goal but the rest of the game it looked like neither of them could trap a medicine ball.

Still a bit confused about their 2nd equaliser. Looked like Sneddon was in the process of a routine save when one of our players (Graham I think) booted it into the top of the net. The worst aspect was the complete lack of urgency in getting out to close them down. As for their 1st, absolutely shocking from Mayo. What in the name of Christ was he thinking.

As you can probably work out, I'm most definitely not in the happy with a point camp. Thought Docherty had an excellent game. About the only positive for me.

According to the match report on the Raith Rovers website Tiffoney hit the post.

Nice to see that RR's fans and Manager are saying we deserved to win the game. However McGlynn is also  saying from what he could see the Berra tackle on Smith wasn't even a yellow card never mind a red! Also said condition of the pitch was poor!

If McGlynn doesn't think that tackle was a red he's delusional. If he doesn't think it was even a yellow he seriously needs to seek help. Bannigan was (correctly) given a red for a very similar challenge a couple of seasons ago. Think it might have been Zannata's debut against Ayr.

As far as I'm aware that if the ref can see both goals and touchlines from the centre spot then it's playable, and given the result I'm glad it was.

I never saw much of our efforts in their box in the first but saw the 2nd half and goal ok.

Did we hit the post in the first half?

Holt had a cross first half that evaded everyone and came back off the post. It was seconds before Smith had a great chance that he put just past the other post.

Why was there as much as 6/7 minutes added time? Did the Ref have a long friendly chat with Berra before giving him a red card?

The ref played 5 mins extra time. With the subs, the red card and the blatant time wasting that was about right. Only a few seconds left on the clock when we scored.

Aye, so guess what idiot with a weak bladder went to the toilet in the JHS at 96 minutes of today's game and was standing drying his hands at the 97th minute when the place erupted. Yep, me. It'll be Jagzone later tonight for me to see the goal.

Ooft schoolboy error. Just cross your legs next time.

You'll need bloody good eyesight to get get much from the tv coverage.

Yeah. Strange decision. Killie fans on P and B are saying their performances were getting worse.

Just had a look. From the start of November they've taken 3 points from 5. Scored 2 goals in those games. Big downturn from their early season form. Can't say I'm surprised.

Must be strange for big Williamson to be at both ends of a scudding .

Did he not chose to jump ship when it looked like Falkirk were a stick on for the title? Perhaps I'm not remembering it correctly but if I am girfuy.

Where do John McVeigh and Peter Cormack fit in this classification?

Not great but nowhere near as bad as some of the aforementioned.

Or Tommy Bryce for that matter.

I just watched the goals on Jagzone. Graham's first goal was a belter, which we saw really clearly at the Railway End. The second goal was a bit of a blur from there, even with specs on, so great to see it properly. Great cross and the way Graham times his jump and places the ball is lovely to see.

3rd goal was a great goal. Killed the game, no coming back from that.

Hmmm. The Scottish Parliament has a long reach to Muscat ?? Lol

It's 10 years since I left Muscat. If I could've been arsed I should have changed my name to Bahrain, Dubai and finally Kilmaurs Jag. The only one in the village as far as I know.

Brown is our Westminster MP. Somehow appropriate given his level of delusion.

  12. Rudden was onside. What's actually bothering them is that it was a very tight call and they feel they have the right that they should all go their way. They are a big club after all.

I assume the awful officiating doesn't include the stonewall red card that wasn't given. To think that arrogant ******* is my MP.

Mayo is the first Old Firm loanee whom I can recollect really caring deeply about winning games for Thistle, as witness his celebration with Akinola and Sneddon at the end of the match.

Think that was about the three of them taking real pride in their collective performance and Sneddon's late save that has kept the run of clean sheets going. Sneddon was very solid yesterday but for over 90 minutes Mayo and Akinola did a great job of protecting him.

Shame about the Hamilton consolation goal. But 1 goal conceded in 6 is a great achievement.

Also thought Holt and Foster were much improved on recent performances.

  14. My God that was good. Totally deserved win. Could have been more comfortable if the ref hadn't bottled a clear red card. In fairness that apart he wasn't that bad.

Rudden, Bannigan and Mayo were all immense today. Everyone in the team pulled their weight today. Particularly pleased to see Turner and Murray come in and do a job. Kilmarnock's first real chance came 2 minutes into injury time and thankfully Sneddon was up to the task.

Terrific effort all round .MOTM for me was Tiffoney who is at times unplayable .Only downside was the needless yellows which might prove costly over the next 2-3 games if the likes of big barnstorming Graham sees the red mist again .

Yeah but most of these yellow cards came about because when the referee was presented with a difficult decision he decided to pretend it hadn't happened. Complete and utter coward.
