BTW the guy that said we would play 3 at the back when O'Ware came on, he actually went into midfield. It looked really weird to me but I suppose it gave us another big centre back when defending corners and O'Ware is pretty mobile and comfortable on the ball for a CB so it wasn't that bad an idea, just looked odd to see him there though.
Surely it would have been mentioned in the open day.

That’s interesting, took a wee look at the Barnsley forum and they all seem to quite like him. He dose seem to be against spending money on players though.

Why would no players been sent to Barnsley from Nice? Why would the owner of Nice, champions league and Europa League regulars buy Barnsley a yo-yo club?

Did these potential owners not also own Nice for a while and I don’t think they sent any players to Barnsley.

I just think it’s unfair that Penrice a young player still learning gets pellters but Bannigan who actually cost us a goal gets off easy. I’m not saying he can’t do a job or isn’t good enough just for someone who is a good player he’s had a bad start to the season.

I feel Banzo is getting off the hook a bit, the whole team was awful but him especially my god. Absolutely pointless didn’t win the ball back, took to long to do his sideways stuff, cost us a goal and in general just awful for someone who is supposed to be too good for this league he’s a very bad opening so far.

I think if Banzo didn’t make that awful mistake I think we would have ran out comfortable winners, need to cut out these stupid mistakes.

As shit a manager as Caldwell as, not giving him credit for signing McDonald because he is Caldwell’s pal is stupid, as all that matters is he dose his job.
If this is true about O’ware and Bannigan then it’s a real worry, as pish as Banzo has been I still think in the right set up he could be really good. Also I think O’ware is possible future captain and we should be keeping him at all costs. Very worrying times.
