He was top goal scorer in the Premiership two seasons ago, but like others have said he doesn’t fit the high pressure we want to play.

Where can I find that article or is it your article?
The meet the manager night episode 4 if you don’t want to go through articles.

ICT, Morton and Dunfermline have slashed their budget and it’s Crawford’s first window as a manager, Alloa and Arbroath will probably be in the bottom 3 and Ayr are losing players, Dundee have a massive rebuilding job and DU I think will win the league but Neilson’s dodgy January signings could haunt them again in the window. I think this will be a very tight league from the bottom to the top and I’m quite looking forward to it.

Signed for a club in Tunisia.

Neilson made a big difference to Dundee United once he took over.
Inherited a lot of dross and but for inability to take penalties might have achieved something significant.
They'll skate this division next season.
Did he not sign a lot of dross during January. Like Sow, Pawlett and Connolly, Nesbitt ect.

Spittal has been offered a contract by County and Livi. Would be a loss I think we have seen a different player second half of the season in Spittal.

I am almost convinced that the club is happy being a middling team at this level. We're the quickest every time to make huge cutbacks
and then trot out some poor wee us line to the supporters. **** all ambition as usual.Any time we eventually go down there's wholesale cuts. Its following the same pattern as last time, downsizing the staff
closing areas of the ground, cost cutting with the youth teams, running with a smaller first team squad. Its just dressed in different ways.God forbid we have to increase our infrastructure or spend any money to try and get promoted and maintain it. Any successful business has to take risks once in a while. We give out a signal that we can't give up quick enough every time. See the next time we draw one of the old firm in the cup,
just send out 10 players and give them the whole ground. We are not the only team Dunfermline, ICT and Morton have also slashed the budget.

This is a thread about the youth academy not about Doolan and Erskine , we really don’t need daily reminders about how they left nor if they deserved to stay or not.

That was good, looks like a good night, and a forum I hope they continue to use throughout the season.
Regarding the earlier comments regarding scouts, I heard that Morton have had the guy Graham Carr along at some games. Now that guy was an incredibly successful scout for Newcastle a few years ago … I wonder if Morton have some ideas to get him onboard to help build their squad?
Is Graham Carr not hated in Newcastle swaer during their latest relegation he was getting daily pellters.

It’s not surprising but neither can complain going on how they played this season.

It was Dundee United that McDonald scored from that Cardle cross.

Great news about Cardle hopefully Spittal signs as well.

Personally think Gary would have been a fantastic politician as nothing is ever his fault, under Archibald those same fragile players were winning games and do you know most of these so called “ fragile players “ Bannigan, Slater, Mcginty Penrice ,Fitzpatrick are still at the Club or were till very recently Dools and Elliott and Storey moving on.
It’s too simplistic to whitewash the first part of the season , the players who were moved on weren’t first team regulars .
Probably a more pertinent reason is they couldn’t adapt to Caldwell’s new regime .
“These players where winning games” I agree with Dools Bannigan and Elloitt and at a push Penrice but considering that since signed Slater , McGinty, Stroey and Fitzpatrick have either nearly or have been relegated with us then that just doesn’t make sense.

According to the Dunfermline fans Williamson’s had 2 bad injuries and is a confidence player but got double figure assists. Happy with that
Gordon though is very meh.

Depends if you want a full back or a wing back ?
Full backs or wing backs now are more atacking not sure what your point is.

No point in having pace if you can’t cross.
-
A hard working pro but a replaceable one.
All the best Elloitt.

Don’t think he’s out of contract but Bruce Anderson from Aberdeen? Played in big role in keeping Dunfermline up and is a striker.
