I sold my old car on ebay recently and the guy came to collect it today. He was buying it to export it to Nigeria. I just want to double check I did the right thing with the V5C. When filling it in he said he only needed to fill in section 11 (blue rip out section) and left it for me to send to the DVLA and this seemed to make sense to me. He also filled in and took section 10, the green section new drivers take. He never completed his details in the main part of the document, but I did ask him to did write down his full name and address for me in case I need it. It seems I only need to send the blue rip out section to the DVLA, does anyone know if this is correct? Cheers in advance for any help!
