ACAB
Tuesday 8th February St. Johnstone today instigated the second stage of their attempt to have their lowest ever attendance at McDiremid Park. They headed off the possibility of the referee declaring the pitch playable by insisting to the SFA that an inspection was not required (there may have been a thaw during the warmest part of the day after all) and declared that the game would be played the next evening. At approx 6.50pm the sprinklers then mysteriously swithched themselves on flooding the pitch again. Wednesday 9th February Game off due to the covers being incorrectly place over the sprinklers. We'll try again on Monday said a spokesman for the Satanees which should give us more time for the saplings we planted in the six yard box to grow.
