I am going Friday to Monday camping and never been before so not sure what to expect! Chicofan Posted July 3, 2011 Report Share Posted July 3, 2011 went for 4 years in a row 1996-2000, never returned since, nedfest these days so i am told Didnt help that i lost all my mates every year as well, the last year i hitch hiked home and was back in milngavie for 7pm on the saturday! Went for the first time in years for the Saturday only. Had a brilliant time. Weather was a mixed bag (although I hear it was worse on the sunday). Primal Scream were brilliant as usual, House of pain were funny and I don't mind admitting it - Beyonce was the best! Yes, there are a lot of neds but I thought the atmosphere was really good and saw no sign of trouble. Didn't stop me cringing every time I heard "here we f***ing go" Definitely going back next year.
