    Top 6

Think that's 6 wins, 3 draws and 1 defeat (away to Aberdeen) in the last 10 games. Outstanding!
  2. Apologies if it is mentioned somewhere else in the previous 86 pages but I am a bit behind. Is anything happening with McFadden or is he just training with us?
  3. And hardly a diddy team given their strike force and two world cups! Belgium were brilliant tonight. So calm on the ball and De Bruyne looks some player. Saying that I thought we had some decent spells and the last few games have been encouraging
  4. Football isn't quite as simple as everyone playing one position in one formation so it's quite normal to not replace like for like. Wallace can play left back and midfield, Whittaker and Anya can play either full back position. Mulgrew can play centre back, left back or in midfield.
  5. Not that I like either call up particularly but Thomson is obviously due to Strachan working with him at Middlesborough and Wallace due to him having a bit of experience from previous call ups (and not having done much wrong in those games) I agree that i don't think any of our players are ready yet for the full squad. If Bannigan continues as he has been then he will be in soon.
  6. Look at the quality of the line ups from our last game against Hearts to see how far they have fallen and how far we have come! Saturday February 25th 2006 Hearts 2, Partick Thistle 1 Teams Hearts: Gordon, Neilson, Fyssas, Pressley, Hartley, Webster, Cesnauskis, Brellier, Jankauskas, Elliot, Skacel subs Berra, Bednar, Mikoliunas. Thistle: Arthur, Murray, B Gibson, Smyth, Hodge, J Gibson, Boyd, Strachan, Ritchie, McConalogue, Roberts subs Brady, Gillies.
  7. What happened to McNamaras football comedy film? That's going to be up there!
  8. Saw Mark Roberts with Andy 'Skeletor' Millen
  9. Brilliant performance. Think where we were only a few years ago now we have a young squad playing fearless attacking football in the top league. I thought the midfield were outstanding especially Welsh and I've not always been his biggest fan. Winning lots of 50/50s and keeping the ball on the deck Great crowd and atmosphere too We're back!
  10. Would be great if the Celtic job came up, McNamara resigned from Utd to avoid compensation then he didn't get the job
  11. Sounds like he is carefully wording what he says "I don't want anything from Thistle money-wise" - the money would be coming from Utd so technically not coming from him "They would have had the full money". Aye but over what period of time? As others have said he has enough friends in the media to twist this any way he wants.
  12. What is the Dundee squad like? I know they have lost a few big players but have they brought anyone of note in? I've not been paying attention over the summer!
  13. Hard to tell. Who was it recently that got people to pay for a trial? Stirling? I know it is a different situation but I think they made a lot of money out of it.
  14. And I guess if there is an injury and the plan goes to pot a bit. Got over £500 in sponsorship so far which Im pretty chuffed with. Trying to link up with one of the Warriors players who is a patron of the charity. Wonder if he can get me a days training with the Jags? At least a few signed tops to raffle?
  15. Haha. I think there might be a few others with the vaseline out at the start line so think I should be ok! I did find this plan on the free part of the RW website, going to go with that. Its a 16 week plan (16 weeks today) and is aimed at 3:30-4:30. Only thing is that I got told that you should only increase your distance by 10% each time. The long runs are going up by 2 miles. Not a huge deal I suppose http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/racing/rws-basic-marathon-schedules-intermediate/109.html
