  1. Healthy crowd today pity the players didn't put on a show. Still think our fans need to be a bit more vocal. The Jackie Husband stand needs to get behind the team as well! Hope the fans keep coming back because we have some work to do if are to stay top.
  2. Tried the Star and Garter today and was pleasantly surprised. Staff where courteous a decent pint and good friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be back in before one of the next home games.
  3. Bah Humbug! Controlled the first half but lacked that cutting edge in front of goal. Keeper had a bad day. Rest of the team didn't play well either. Archie one of few to get a pass mark. Ref was so bad it beggars belief. Bad day at the office but we can find form again come the end of January I think we'll still be top. COME ON THISTLE!!!!!!
  4. It's been very interesting to read about all the different watering holes of choice. Not many fans seem to favour the Supporters bar in the Aitken suite bar. It seems to me that the club is missing out on a chance to make some badly needed revenue by not improving the overall fan experience. I was really disappointed the last time I ventured in. The queuing system was taking that long that some away fans asked where the nearest bar was and where pointed in the direction of the Star and Garter. The TV was showing snooker and there was next to no atmosphere to mention. From what I've been reading here this could easily be remedied .Showing Football on the T.V, better service at the bar and some Thistle tunes on in the background would make this a better pre match experience than the current one. Surely this isn't too much to ask?
  5. Cheers Ian. Not heard that for a while.
  6. Can anyone post all the words to "It's a heartache following the Partick". Great to hear this song sung at last Saturdays game. Cheers.
  7. We didn't want to misbehave in case Santa doesn't bring our presents!!!
  8. I've noticed Fenlon at a few games this season. One of them Hamilton away, so he wouldn't have been impressed by what he witnessed on that occasion. Quite surprised that Erskine is a target because I was reading in the Edinburgh Evening News the other week that Hibs had a whole batch of young players ready to burst into the first team. If Erskine does go in the January window I would like to think that our management team would be able to replace him with a player of similar quality. Hope he doesn't go though!
  9. In your humble opinion. Which is the best Pub to watch football and mingle with other Jags fans before the match?
  10. Why don't we just look to another country where the set up seems to work and replicate theirs. Say Germany!
