  1. Made my own because my little guy is too wee for a proper one and they weren't out in time for the kit launch. God love poster paint. Just can't wash it but I'll do him a proper version with fabric paint.
  2. Personally I loved this, which is almost exactly the same as the black:
  3. Rid Skwerr, the media rules were incredibly strict. The BBC and the international broadcasting rights holder were the only people allowed to film within the venues so STV were limited in what they were able to cover. As far as I know they weren't even allowed to film outside the venues - within the boundary gates. The most they could do as accredited press was send observers to write reports etc. but with no footage it's hardly worth it for a visual medium. I was a Clydesider and was working with the accredited press - it was pretty exclusively online and print media journalists who were there. The whole thing was amazing, and I'd be tempted to volunteer at future games. Considering a family trip to Gold Coast in four years time. Would love to see other events in Glasgow.
  4. Good idea...he's already inheriting his dad's, great uncle's and great grandpa's! I fancy trying to get some signatures on this as it's his first, but they'll have to be tiny...
  5. Infant kits are in the ttl store. Start from 12months, then 18, 2yrs, 3yrs. £35 for top, shorts and socks, and it's a cracker. Word of advice, though. Buy it big. Really big. My 9 month old is in the 18-24 and it's not going to last the season, possibly til Christmas at a push, but I'm framing it for him when he's out of it anyway.
  6. This would be a good point, if the museum mentioned wasn't run by Celtic, including a legends walkway from the museum to the stadium with statues. In time for the Commonwealth Games. Yay.
  7. I know it might be playing into the hands of those who think we are the "trendy" club, but if Thistle ran a student incentive and had a presence at Glasgow Uni Freshers Week too they could be onto a winner. I think MacB have branded cars etc. - dish out some Thistle labelled water up at halls as a hangover cure? Make some of them Golden Ticket style labels which win a matchday ticket? On a longer term basis, get some flyering done outside the unions on a Friday night promoting the match the next day? I used to be on the board at the QM, and you might find that in their Champions sports bar they would promote upcoming Thistle games and/or run some themed behind-the-bar promos before/after our games? They might even sell tickets at the porters box for a discount (I can't actually remember - do we have a student gate fee?)
  8. Ah, the internet rumour mill is in action once again. If the Moyes to Man Utd story is a goer, there's talk of Lennon to Everton (although I have serious misgivings that would ever happen). I hope that Dundee United have a compensation clause written into their contract with Jackie on the off-chance that he resigns and takes on a job at a bigger cluuu...oh, wait.
  9. Aero was crying because he didn't win Fitty, that's all...ahem. I reckon the players leaving after the awards was a clever tactical move on the club's part to stop inside gossip!
  10. Seems fairly reasonable to assume that the "if" may have been a typo for "it", meaning he states "it was my last game for thistle". It's not really that far a jump. But yeah, some grammar would help!
  11. Jesus. I was so worried about not looking 5 months pregnant that I forgot to avoid having a bawface! Great pictures, Tommy. Super speedy upload too!
  12. Told my Caley Thistle supporting pal about this. He wants to steal it for their open end. He did say, however... ...that we should really get it sponsored by Gnomebase. He said he could imagine the cries as a gnome met its end after a wayward shot. Most of the crowd reacting in the normal way, save one poor fan shouting "JIMMYYYYYYY!" as a clay pipe or fishing rod soars skyward.
  13. Half way down page 4. I blame Sunnylaw Jag.
  14. Nothing good ever came out of Baillieston...apart from me hehe.
