Ayr seemed particularly good with arms and hands, especially 14 & 23 (who both played very well outwith pushing & holding) Chalmers looked decent as always but I sometimes wonder about his lack of end product

Too many pointless sideways passing, and too many of those passes either under-hit or over-hit, or poorly received. Oh, and the terrible, inaccurate punts. Not to mention the totally useless throw-ins, not helped by nobody showing interest in receiving one. Midfield weak, too often sitting back. Some poor final balls at the end of attacks, and poor attempts at finishing (did the Ayr keeper actually have even one save to make?).
Otherwise, well played!
He didn’t have many but did make a good save from Fitzy’s last contribution.
Mitch never had much to do either

Only fella I can think of in recent years is James Craigen. But he was nowhere near as skilful. I'd like to see Fitzy switch wings more often. Especially with no Lawless these days.
Oh, he's a Rangers supporter?
Agree. Thought he had an excellent game.
Like last week he tried to let the game flow. He got some right and some wrong but overall can’t complain

Dundee United were lucky to finish the game with 11 men and a draw. Referee was abysmal and should have sent off at least two DU players in the second half. Horrible team that is obviously coached to play that way.
Horrible team that got away with murder at Firhill, Moult should have been red carded both times. Godwins an ******** who’ll likely get sacked next season.
However I’m glad they’re out of our league with their over inflated budget

No Milne or Stanway tomorrow unfortunately.
That’s a pity, both played very well last week, especially Harry. Hopefully both will be back soon

Hopefully we can beat Airdrie & Raith and it won’t be a problem for him

Moult likely to win it but Brian must be in with a great chance having scored against every team in the league.

nice 1st prize this month! unfortunately I never won it 😝

Banff as it must be about a similar latitude as Buckie. We played Deveronvale there in the Cup

Both Frank and Mo’s records were in the 2nd tier.
I don’t think the season records was the point. It’s the fact the Brian’s overall career with us is outwith the top league (so far)

I was there on Saturday. It was almost full but my table only had 5 people and there were 1 or 2 unused tables

Looking at Mojo for the 82/83 season and he bagged 22 in the league, but 35 in total. That means 13 from cup games which is very impressive. That must be a record for competitive non-league games in a season
Was that the season of multiple cup replays v Clyde & Killie?

Mitch has been excellent since he returned to the team and I wouldn’t mind him resigning.
i had wondered if Laidlaw at RC might become available as seemed out of favour and is a decent keeper, but he was back in the team recently so it’s maybe unlikely

I still wish we could somehow get the JLS singers into the JH. I feel it would give a much better atmosphere and would encourage more to join in. However I understand that’s their patch and moving out would likely return it to away supporters which sometimes worked against us in the 2nd half. The ideal would be a standing area in place of the bing but that’s not happening. No easy answer unfortunately

Is there some reason that we shoot towards the JLS in the 1st half ? It’s not as if it has always been the “home” end
I don’t think there’s any specific reason but in all the years I’ve been going we’ve tended to shoot towards the city end in the 2nd half. Some tried reversing it (Caldwell and McCall I think) but we reverted

This guy is a total legend and at 36 what he does is amazing ❤️🇧🇪

Now that we're definitely in the playoffs and Ayr aren't, can we get Dowds back? Could be handy.
I would doubt it due to transfer windows and would he want to?

It’s the players that pick the team - so I guess he is the keeper that has impressed them most.
Exactly

Calum Ferrie (Queen’s Park); Jack McMillan (Partick Thistle), Kevin Holt (Dundee United), Scott McMann (Dundee United), Josh Edwards (Dunfermline); Adam Frizzell (Airdrieonians), Craig Sibbald (Dundee United), Sam Stanton (Raith Rovers); Brian Graham (Partick Thistle), Louis Moult (Dundee United), Ruari Paton (Queen’s Park)it’s maybe just me but I don’t know why Ferrie seems to be rated so highly as that’s 2 years in a row he’s been selected

It’s just a pity we managed to lose the 2 games when we had the protection 🙄

RIP Willie 🥲

I was thinking the same as you might be the best option. there’s definitely several players that need a bit of a break over the next few games, but will some of these players want a break or prefer to keep playing?

I seem to remember Kevin Gaughan getting sent off at Starks for grabhing Novo by the throat when he tried to dive for a penalty or something? Don’t remember ever seeing a player more angry than Kevin that day.
Was there not a similar incident with Archie & Novo?
