I think that technically he was the second player involved. The third was Andy Dowie who was judged rather less harshly as he was younger and less experienced at the time.

I remembered Fulton & Dowie, and as LIB mentioned he somewhat redeemed himself a few years later. I just wasn’t sure of the 3rd player. I wasn’t ranking them

I hadn’t realised the difference between finishing third and fourth is over £90,000.  That’s a big incentive for ensuring we hold onto third place

It was mentioned a few times last year that the draw with Raith in the final game cost us 2 places and about £150k

Just watched a re run of the Falkirk v Cove game , with 20 minutes to go Falkirk bring on 3 subs at the same time, can we do that??No ..we bring on subs and we fall apart..

Bit of perspective, they’re finally running away with league 1 after 5 years of being in that league and Ross McIver & Aiden Nesbitt are 2 of their star players.

We were in it unjustly for 1 season & humped them 5-0 to win the league.

I’m sure they’ll do ok next season but I’d expect us to finish above them

To be fair Doolan rarely rotates his 1st 11 so not suprising a bit of fatigue is setting in now

Would you rotate the normal first 11 if all available? Unfortunately most of the rest of the squad assembled aren’t good enough as first choice

  5. But 2 tough away games where we usually struggle. Any points away will be a bonus but home wins v Airdrie & Ayr should hopefully be enough for third.

It’s a very poor league this season and I reckon Raith will finish 2nd but nothing to fear if we manage to meet them in a play off despite this season results so far against them.

  6. From BBC

Inverness Caledonian Thistle head coach Duncan Ferguson: "I'm not sure if it's inside the box or it's not inside the box, but it's absolutely a free-kick.

"It's an easy decision and then they counter attack and that's it, they score from there. It should have been a penalty if it was inside the box, or it's a free-kick on the edge of the box, and then [the referee] compounds the problem by then saying to Cammy Kerr that he's simulated the first yellow card. It's a clear free-kick."

38 clearly fell over looking for a free kick, Kerr’s was a blatant dive.

Come out and take the game to them and get the first goal please Jags. then keep a clean sheet! Fancy Fitzy for another goal tomorrow along with BBG.  Does anyone know the situation with Dowds, if Ayr don’t make the playoffs will he then be eligible for us in the playoffs or not?

I doubt if Dowds can play for us in play offs as I’m sure we could only have recalled him in January but Dools chose not to
