Sorry if I am going to spoil anyone's weekend more, but we have got Dungdee Utd rolling up to Firhill next Saturday,,,Don't have nightmares comes to mind.....................
as someone else mentioned, 4 very tough fixtures coming up, which could define the rest of the season

In other news, Luke McBeth was very good.
yes he looked good. A bit raw and could maybe pick up a few cards, but he won some tackles and headers and comfortable on the ball.

You can probably complete post match comments already

It had already deflected off the Thistle defender.
Ah! I never noticed that at the time. Thanks for correcting me. None of our group realised that from where we sat.
I’m still not convinced it crossed the line but then again the same assistant gave Graham offside

At the front of the Lambie stand so impossible to say if corner was correct call. What i did see was us clearing the ball and nobody challenge the Dunfermline player who was allowed to stroll forward and have a shot unchallenged. We should have put a tackle in.
Exactly

Appears he got kicked in the knee by someone matching the description of Lindsay Hoyle.
On a cheerier note, David Munro is the ref 😡
Fs you called that right! Appalling performance, have any of this latest batch of refs ever played the game?

One other decision that baffled me and had a massive bearing on the game and possibly not been mentioned.
The equaliser comes from a corner given when our keeper catches the ball on or behind the goal line, I’m not sure exactly as even on tv it’s unclear, but either way he moves forward with the ball not backwards. If he catches behind the line it’s a goal kick, if he catches on the line it’s play on. It was never a corner, yet just like with the Livvy game it’s wrongly given and we concede.
Did anyone nearer the goal line have a clearer view & opinion?

Was on my way up to this but the M77 was nose to tail. Turned round and watched it in the bar. Thank f***. Pretty poor performance and some shocking decisions. I'm finding this all really painful. I know it's only a game but it hurts.
That’s the way I feel about it just now too. I just seem to have been on a downer since the disgraceful decisions at Dingwall and the last 2 games we’ve had more shockers go against us. This coupled with our shocking defence doesn’t make for pleasant watching. Really not enjoying it

Too early 🤣

I think with hindsight Dools should maybe have appointed a more defensive minded assistant? I mentioned earlier in the season we needed a defensive coach but I suppose finances might not allow it.

Brian isn’t happy!

Why start Adeloye or Diack? None were good enough last week despite playing more than a hour, but I’d slightly excuse Ricco as he had to play wide right. Graham is also likely to score against them.
As I said 🤣

Why did we bother signing O’Reilly? 🙄

The main positive of finishing second is the substantial extra prize money.
Although last season reaching the play off final made us feel like we had finished second, the reality is that we picked up only fourth place prize money.
Very true. Unfortunately we chucked away a lot of money last week too
-
We might be capable but have been unable to beat either of them yet in the in league or we wouldn’t be so far behind them
-
In all honesty is finishing 2nd good or bad? I know it’s 2 less games finishing 2nd but I think Ayr’s gap between games last season hindered them while we built up momentum. ICT beat Arbroath who were 2nd the season before too.
Also if the top 2 finish quite close the runner-up might be a bit deflated (see above for Arbroath)
Just my thoughts

I heard rumours that O’Reilly is out for several weeks. Has anyone heard anything confirmed officially?
